Much of the pseudoscience that comprises feminist thought is dismantled in light of evolutionary psychology. So Dr. Saad is invaluable in bringing a much needed dose of reality to discussions surrounding gender politics. Thank you, Louise, for bringing him on.

Evolutionary psychology is just that, pseudoscience. It's a frame of reference trying to tie everything back to the good old days of hunter-gatherers by trying to establish some worth in that age. It's basically one form of the naturalistic fallacy. It's astrology for men. Think about what they opened with; the adaptive purpose of suicide. Makes sense right? You can make cases for and against it. It's for making room and freeing resources for your genes or you are outside of the group with no chance of reproducing _or_ you're ego wants to preserve itself and this is counterproductive to the survival of the species and not adaptive at all. We are so complexed that this solution can be "true" from all sorts of interpretations and that makes it unsound. We are not natural anymore. Technology has helped us fight many of the obstacles we have faced throughout history. That doesn't mean we are no longer in our supposed "natural" habitat. We adapt to the circumstances. The form of anxiety might not be the same but I'm guessing it wasn't easier as a hunter-gatherer, trying to fight animals for food on a starving stomach. And I guess they were anxious too, finding all kinds of wishful thinking trying to explain things back then. We were superstitious and from the looks of it, listening to this conversation, we still are.

If you are open minded, listen to Prof. Sam Vaknin. He put out a video yesterday about EvoPsych. Listened to that one after I finished this. He explains how it just is not science. I think Louise Perry could benefit from watching that video too. He seems very wide in his knowledge in the field of the human mind. And he has good arguments for his claims. Even though he is pretty verbally rough on the practitioners of the EvoPsych field. Are you guys up for lesson in a contrary opinion?

The Saader part is that people actually take his just-so stories and give them any credence what so ever. Guess it's easy to sell pseudo-science to lay people, especially in the kind of astrology they are discussing here, namely evolutionary psychology. Ive experienced some of that dread that mothers have regarding their newborn ”is it still breathing” kind of thing. It was when I took on this old house 😅 I had this profound feeling of responsibility to take care of the house. Before moving to it permanently I could lay awake wondering if the house was ok. Especially during when I did the roof. What if the tarp had blown away and rain got in etc. Its was a most unexpected feeling that stayed with me for a few years. For a house! 😂

15:11 hey Gad, if you’re ever at a loss to adequately explain or describe “Munchausen by proxy,” you know there’s a prominent example in one of the best known movies of the last 30 years. The Sixth Sense. Just bring up the scene with the hidden videotape. The one which reveals that the mother was feeding her daughter drain cleaner in order to keep her sick. Everyone will say, “oh yeah, I remember that scene, it made me want to throw that ‘mother’ in a very deep hole.” Then you say, “that’s Munchausen by proxy.”

Why does Gaad stop being so inquisitive when the gaze turns on his own chosen people? I don't say this as someone who's an antisemite or condones of what happened in October, I absolutely don't, but if he is going to make an inference about who were the architects behind open borders or even collectivism at large, he must know in his heart of hearts, that it's his own chosen people. That, by his own tautology means that there is something worth inspecting there, either in the enculturation or genetics of these people when living with Gentiles. He brings up knowing Arabic as a superpower, but what are his own thoughts on the Ta1mud? Is that not religious supremacy? I'm honestly curious with how he'd answer, because on one hand he assures us he's an atheist, but on the other he defaults to being a semite.

Population differences among nations for longevity, taking gender roles into account are interesting....and remind me of suicide rate differences between men and women: Russia comes to mind. Russian men have much, much shorter lives than Russian women. Why is that? The Russian men die at 55. Often from alcohol related diseases. But the women live an additional 15 years. So I'd guess male alcoholism is driven by the greater emphasis both men and women place on male success. Alcoholism is just suicide in slow motion. What drives it? Men are judged much more harshly than women. Females can be successful, they are applauded. But if women are not successful, no one is bothered. No one judges them for failure. But men know if it's them that are not successful, it means their social value to women, plunges sharply. After Russia lost the Cold War, Russian males as a whole lost an incredible amount of social status. Did the Russian male suicide rate rise after their defeat in the Cold War? 🤔

I’m not sure what you’re saying? Are you saying she ignores the realities of women who get stuck in horrible marriages? I think she’s aware that’s a possibility. On Chris Willamsons podcast she mentions that she thinks the 1950s familial structure was generally a good one, but was an absolute nightmare if your husband was a tyrant. Which is true. And that’s why I think feminism came about, too many men were tyrants. They abused their position as head of household. If you’re saying it’s a near guarantee that this outcome will happen, I strongly disagree and I think that’s a position as cynical and rigid as what the blackpillers think. I’m sorry if you’ve been through a rough marriage or a bad relationship but generalizing your experience towards everything does not help anyone
