What idiots like this don't realize, they CAN be arrested in other countries. And other countries don't always have penal systems that are as lenient as can be found in the US or the UK. Many countries have zero tolerance for this type of BS.

Iirc, many years ago, some twit was sentenced to a caning for some disrespectful thing they did as a tourist. Ok had to google it: Michael Peter Fay (b. 30 May 1975, St. Louis, Missouri, United States-), 1 then an American teenager living in Singapore, stirred up a media storm after he was sentenced to six strokes of the cane in March 1994 for vandalising 18 cars over a ten-day period in September 1993.

Interesting Fact: In Germany, you can be arrested for doing the NotSee Salute or for publicly displaying NotSee paraphenalia. An American who was doing the NS-Salute in Germany was arrested and deported … after he got the sh%t kicked out of him by a local man. The German who beat up the Not-See American tourist got a fine for disturbing the peace … and probably a sympathetic, "Alter, next time just call us and let us deal with this filth."

@YuTopian
@YuTopian 3 ай бұрын
@@rainbowdiamond9944 Japan definitely has a huge issue around sexual harassment/assault, but that is not because people aren't allowed to take phone calls on public trains... There are lots of people who do still talk on trains and they face no consequences (Not that I think they should lol) Also I would argue that it's actually much harder to get away with something bad when everyone is being quiet and will turn their attention towards you immediately if the person you assaulted cries out or your phone makes a loud shutter noise (which you can't turn off on most japanese phones) I think the real reason there is so much sexual assault on trains is because these men don't face enough consequences for their actions, and the victims in turn aren't brave enough to ask for help. And that's an issue that will prevail no matter how loud or quiet the train is....

The guy (green shirt) on the subway was in Japan where this behavior is frowned upon. The archways in Japan are usually part of temples so both of these people are so disrespectful. Also, mama’s boys are a nightmare to marry. A friend of mine married one and they had to move in with the overbearing mother in law. She took the door off the bedroom they were staying in!

I travelled through some Underground stations barely before a terrorist attack that injured people. I called mum and dad to let them know I was safe (was travelling onwards via coach to Newcastle and they knew I'd be taking the tube), but not ONCE did I think about posting one of those "it could have been me" posts. It's so disrespectful. I can't imagine having that much sickening main character energy.

So while that mant hunt went on the law people in Korea was activity making a case agaisnt him using his own footage from his streams. He kept streaming his location and his plan to leave the country... anddddd when he was leaving his hotel (streaming that too) a former army man whos been training himself for a month or so to catch the guy, beat him up (in front of the police who let him) and after that he was arrested... he also did stuff like this in other nearby countries so he’s been on the wanted list for a WHILE....

He was unscathed but his friend had blood almost entirely covering his face (and he didn’t show all that much concern for the friend). The fact no one was hurt worse or even killed is a MIRACLE! I don’t think he realizes just how close he came to creating a very serious incident and tragedy.

The issue with babies at concerts, yes the noise and possibility of being crushed or overheated, but my biggest worry is the germs! The amount of people who get "concert flu" or covid after a gig, it's a terrible place to be around a load of crowded together People who have god knows what. I've seen people bring younger and younger babies, ones that clearly won't have had their full vaccines yet and will be at higher risk if they get sick from someone else. I've also seen people let total strangers in the crowd hold their babies to say hello to them!

I think the reason people weren't sucked out of the plane is that it was landing. Because it was at low altitude, the pressure would be lower or equal inside as outside. Usually though, decompression wouldn't be like in the movies, even the door is a relatively small opening, only so much air can escape, if you are close to the door, the wind speed would be quite high, but as you move away, it would be less so. Even in the Aloha Airlines tragedy where a large partof the fuselage blew off, only one of the flight attendants who was standing near that area was actually blown out of the plane. So no, a bullet hole or a broken window won't cause a violent decompression, it'd be more like a punctured tyre gradually deflating. Still, for those close to the door the rapid influx of air at high speed would be quite violent, I do not know why one would try to open a door. If the plane were at altitude, it would be near impossible to do anyway as the pressure in the cabin would be pressing the door shut.
