Maybe it's weird for me to review this video without ever having really watched it... But as a 60-year-old intent on being in better shape at 70 than I am now, and as a huge fan of your videos, you had me (as the kids say now) at "Maintain Youthful Characteristics." (In all seriousness, I'm fully expecting it to be a gem, like all of your content-even if it takes me a minute to get there...)

Mark, I am 59 and deconditioned. You got my started with kettlebells and am improving in my farmer's walks. I want to be able to stand up like this so that I can keep up with my grandchildren and their children, and -- God willing -- their children. Starting with the pullover in the morning!

I managed two Pilates classes. It was mostly people wantonly farting and then telling me to “ take a deep breath”. Couldn’t get on board!

This combination and then 'Superset ' with Kettlebell Swings would be ideal.

My 2-hand club and TGU programs are aligned right now so I've been doing the pullover, pullover situp at the same times with different weights and hand positions. They're on opposite days, so they're happening at the "same time" in my workouts. I'm much more aware of form with them at the moment because of the shifts.

Fantastic! I was looking up for this exercise. Today I ended up doing a few small weighted chest curls with a sort of pullover movement on the bench. It felt so good, like a sort of 360 degree tension and lengthening on my upper body ( the focus on the ribs' alignment is what I noticed made the difference for me too). Thank you!🙏

You can do it. You can always break movements down into smaller pieces Train them, and then add up small movements to get larger movements again .

I warm up with 10 flat back pull ups then Segway to 5 pull overs to 5 overhead lockout the finish with 5 pull over sit-up press. It’s a great warm up for my KB excercises. I’m almost 63 I’m worried that I may be over doing it. I experience no pain before during or after.

Hello Mike Wildman. I want to confirm the press is directed a little bit in front instead overhead press ? Is that true? Cause i find it hard to do strict over head press in sit up positon
@MarkWildman
@MarkWildman 7 ай бұрын
The goal is to get a Kettlebell behind you when you’re standing up in the overhead position. If the same endpoint goal as the queen impress the same goal as a snatch, you should be perfectly vertical from the shoulder through the spine ankles, hips and knees in the kettle bell should be resting behind your body.
@tommytanumihardja9415
@tommytanumihardja9415 7 ай бұрын
Thank you for the fast response. So the goal is to do the over head press while in the sit up position.
