Hey Laura and Aaron! I just wanted to let you know that I am so thankful for all you have taught me about gardening. Yesterday was my first post-lockdown visit to my 94 year old grandma. Because of what you have taught me I was confident to go out in her garden and do some pruning and fertilising for her. It was a joy because this garden was layed out entirely by my late grandfather, who is the only other person in my family with a passion for gardening. I wish I had already known about the joy of gardening while he was still alive, but I felt really connected to him now that I could work in his garden, maintaining the beautiful plants he planted.

Wonderful, sweet sentiments in your post! I learned to garden from the age of 4 with my great-grandma, who was a fascinating woman, so every time I’m in the garden, I think of her. Also, my mother was a superb gardener and taught me so much, is always very close at heart. I have cuttings from both their gardens and it keeps me happy and missing them a little less, though they’ve been gone for many years. 🙌😊😇🌺🌸

That was too funny, when Aaron said that you didn’t need to plant behind the roses; real quick Laura had that line ready of I want them there!!! That’s the argument me and my hubby have all the time, he tries to come out and give advice on the garden; I simply hear him out and then he goes back inside lol. But that was awesome seeing a little real life footage lol. And I just wanted to say I really appreciate your videos, I’ve been watching since early 2018; your videos and energetic spirit are very motivating to get outside and have fun in the dirt. With love from our family to yours, happy gardening!

Laura, I think you made the right plant choices in the area around the gazebo to sort of tone down the orange in the gazebo color. It is going to be glorious! Have you ever thought of growing hyacinth bean around Benjamin’s teepee? They grow so fast in the heat and produce those squiggly purple and pinkish blooms all summer. They do produce a lot of seed, so you’ll never have to buy seed again! 😂 Aaron is so precious! I love your interactions on camera. I’m sure you agree he’s the best thing that’s ever happened to you! I know my hubs is! ♥️ Thank you for sharing this planting and all the inspiration y’all provide every day! 🙌💚🌳🌺🌸

Excellent beginning-to-end project, from clean-up of the existing, to adding some fresh color & texture! I like to change out annuals every year in select spots, it's fun and allows you to be creative! I live on the corner of a fairly busy road in my town. Last year, I had a berm installed in the front corner of my property. I have a foundation of evergreens and deciduous plantings that will look great on their own, with plenty of space to experiment with annual color between the foundation plantings. So far, so good! I hardly go outside and not have someone stop to tell me how much they love my yard & garden! That's all it takes to keep me going!!! Also, there's a shopping area close to where I live, and the landscaping is well-maintained beautiful! I look forward to the seasonal changes, because they never repeat a look. I find tons of inspiration from that area. Great one guys, along with a few laughs!! Thanks!!

Loved everything you've done. You've taught me so much. My garden is really looking beautiful so far this year. Haha though! I am married to a man like Aaron and I thank God for him everyday. Like Aaron he humors me in the garden and helps me when I ask him. He's a great father, good provider, loving husband, and with house hold jobs he has taken on chores that really frees up some time for me. The only time I've ever gotten aggravated with him is when he sticks his nose into my decorating and garden ideas. I would have left the sunflower too although it looks better without them..... But bless their heart... I found I was getting aggravated with Aaron just like I do with my husband when out of the blue he starts directing me with my garden which is something he doesn't usually have any interest in. Aaron was getting sassy on the day you filmed this...LOL!LOL! Anyway I still love Aaron despite this. You have a great guy there, but I know you know that as do I with my husband.

You always inspire Laura!! I have learned so much from you and Aaron on garden design. Your colour sense is beautiful! Being an artist I’m always playing with colour in my gardens and the canvas. At the beginning of the video you mentioned that you didn’t like the colour of your gazebo , but wasn’t confident to change the colour. I see it a different colour too. I think it would look amazing if you painted it a dark charcoal grey.....almost a black. It would look complimentary with the shingled roof and your plants would pop . Especially your coleus and purples. I think it would also compliment your classic white and black house. Anyway, love watching you everyday! Enjoy🌞🌷💐

Sunflower murder was very sad (even though they looked weird there) 😵. Would they survive replanted somewhere else, for the season?

Hi Laura and Aaron! This was fun watching you two banter about the sunflowers and more flowers behind the roses. You each won a "debate"! I do agree with Aaron that the sunflowers were out of place and didn't belong there. I love all of the plants you added to the gazebo area. I love purples, so the more the better! You mentioned the woodland look by the gazebo, which is another reason that I like it just the way it is. It fits right in with what you're planting there. It will be interesting to see what you decide to do. Thank you so much for sharing!

You can paint the gazebo black...but I think you should “go for it” and get the green house you wanted😱. Life is too short. It would look fantastic there.

I know you're trying to 'cool' the area with the purple blooms but it actually accentuates the warmth of the orange pergula since these are contrasting colors. Well according to colortheory. Either way it looks pretty to me.

Garden answer, hi Laura, love watching your videos, you could map out where you want to put your stepping stones with sand then plant your space, put your stone's in their place when you get what you are looking for. 💖
