You might want to consider offering things for free on Facebook market place. In my experience they get snapped up pretty fast and you can give things directly to people who need and can use them and they don’t have to go buy them. It can be a bit of a hassle but once you find two or three people who you know are reliable for coming to pick up you can contact them whenever you are clearing out. Personally im not a fan of goodwills practices and the best part of all for me is you don’t have to leave the house! I normally just offer porch pickup. You might also want to look into the buy nothing app for your area.

Good Morning, Mai! Putting image labels on those bins in your boys closet, might further help to keep it tidy. Maybe you could make some labels on your Cricut, laminate them, and tie them onto the baskets. Images of shirts, pants, jammies, etc. You could decant your giant protein powder into the containers you found, and store the big overflow containers in the Butler pantry, ha, just sayin! Also, YES to trying the spice rack! I have had one in my Amazon cart for weeks and just haven't made the commitment. Would love to see if it works out for you. Have fun at the Dino park!

Mai, pro organizer here. I have always organized my kids clothes by size and season and buy ahead on clearance. I use the wide plastic drawers to store them and have each drawer as size and season. It takes me 2 minutes to switch them out for each season then relabel that drawer for whatever next season ahead is. I have saved THOUSANDS of dollars on clothes. Also, I keep a donation bag in every closet. And one right out side the garage entry door, so i can just chuck anything that needs to go in the main living area and kitchen……OUT.

I love the bright swim trunks thing. When my kids were little if we went camping or to the park I always had them in the brightest shirts I could find. I had neon hoodies just for camping and outings, for them from the time they could walk all they would allow me to make them wear them anymore lol. Once my son who was about 2 somehow walked out the front door and down the street and I called the police right away because we didn't know where he was for sure. He was in his neon hoody and the police were so impressed we had done that. He was only a couple houses away and the lock on the door had broken but it was so scary.

Mai! I started following you when I was pregnant and now my boy is one 🤗 your tip about just buying white socks has been SUCH a timesaver!! Baby boy rips off his socks anywhere and everywhere. I donate any gifts of cute character socks before I open them. And the Target up and up wipes and zippy PJs you recommended are staples in our house! They started making the footy pjs in bigger sizes too 💕 so thank you for blessing us Momas with your knowledge Mai 🙌🏽

Yes I always keep a bin for storage for clothes that are outgrown, labeled and ready for the attic. Don't sleep on Kohl's for toddler and kid clothes, especially off season/local team clothes. They have a wonderful clearance section and if you do an Amazon return there you get $5 off. Just got a local team toddler sweatshirt for $12 that would regularly be three times as much.

I googled it first to make sure I could find it I saw it on another KZbinrs channel but if you look up hat clip for closets you will see couple options pull up. And wanted to ask nothing is wrong with donating to goodwill but my mind has shifted more towards donating to local shelters first because one there usually are many around and to help them out with things that can use or appreciate and also I have learned that most good wills bc so many ppl donate to them there is a lot of stuff that goes to the landfilled bc they can't keep it all. So don't know if you ever thought of looking up a local shelter near you as another option but if this is the first time your hearing about this then I hope it can help as another option for donating things . Hope at least one of these tips help you out.

I'm one minute in and have to jump in fast to say that my sister clothes her two little kids for free. Tons of people on local buy nothing fb pages and everything is free pages give away garbage bags of childrens clothing in perfect condition, some of it never worn. She takes it home and divvies it up into bins labeled by child size/age. Anything she doesn't get that way (like snow boots, for example), she finds dirt cheap (like $1) at Savers, and uses a 20% off coupon for donating to Savers before she walks in the front door. Winter coats etc from Savers/ Goodwill she strips with tide/ borax/ laundry powder and boiling hot water, runs through the wash, and organizes into the bins. Kids grow out of clothes so fast, you can find all that stuff for free! If you don't see it pop up on buy nothing, make a ISO post for it and the offers will come rolling in :D

Speaking of decluttering I hope your husband kept the device that helps the back...I can't recall what it is called. I am not a chiropractor, a doctor or anything...as I get older and being 34 stretching and doing things to help your back is something I pay attention to. Forgive me for saying this, I know you want or wanted your husband to get rid of it which I respect. I hope that is something that is reconsidered. :)
