If putting eggs in multiple baskets is a bad idea in your opinion, that means you are left with 2 choices, hold all the eggs yourself or let another entity hold all your eggs with their baskets. Lena, you’re right on that US dollar as the reserve currency won’t end anytime soon. So is true with tge petrodollar. However, the trend is quite clear, countries in the west will continue to stick with the US regime, countries outside of the west will go for alternatives to protect themselves and to maximize their interest. The complete dominance by the west is coming to an end, as it should given how irresponsible the west, led by the US, has abused its privileges in the last few decades.

The petrodollar is dead, and you think the dollar is strengthening? We’re increasing our National debt $1T every 100 days and can barely keep up with paying the interest, let alone the principle. The Fed is printing at record pace. The dollar has lost 25% of its purchasing power in the last 4 years alone, and 98% of its purchasing power in 100 years. Do the math. It’s dying exponentially now. It’s only a matter of time… The stock market is overinflated. Yes you could’ve made decent returns the last few years and soon it will spike, but then quickly come crashing down. Many will lose everything. Best to convert your dying fiat currency into REAL money and assets to survive a Depression the likes of which you have never seen (because that’s what’s coming). You should be doing what the Central Banks and BRICS countries are doing… buying gold and silver. Aquire land if you can. Become self sufficient. Find ways to produce clean drinking water, grow your own garden and learn how to hunt and fish. Your life will depend on it.

Tesla is only worth 544B USD as of June 2024 while BYD is valued at 711B HKD, putting it somewhere around one fifth the value in terms of USD and about on par in terms of local purchasing power. I'd expect both Tesla to lose value and BYD to gain value over the next year to where BYD surpasses Tesla in the near-ish future in terms of market valuation.

The impact to Saudi Arabia is positive since they have removed restrictions, allowing sales of their product (oil) in any available currencies instead of a currency that has its exchange rate indirectly manipulated by the Fed interest rate control. This simply makes their product more accessible for buyers. What are talking about lady? As of yesterday Saudi Arabia did not renew its agreement with the US which has made the US dollar the only currency able to be used to trade oil. They ended the petrodollar by not renewing. The only reason the US dollar has kept its spot as the world reserve currency is because of that agreement. Without it, it will continue to lose value and eventually its dominance. Won’t happen overnight, or even in our lifetime,but it will eventually happen.
