In this eye-opening video, we address the concerning trend of increased boat crashes and accidents in the world of fishing and tournament fishing. As safety becomes a top priority, we take proactive measures by installing a leash on my bass boat to prevent potential disasters, such as a boat motor jumping into the hull of the boat. Join us as we provide a step-by-step installation guide and put the Precision Sonar leash to the test to determine if it effectively safeguards against such incidents without compromising the functionality of tilt trim for shallow water fishing. Stay informed, stay safe, and learn how to protect yourself and your boat in the unpredictable waters of tournament fishing.

I’m going to go out on a limb and say that having 300 hp on the back of a boat and 26 computer monitors to look at while driving probably is a recipe for disaster

I remember when I was a younger man about 30 years ago, angles showed respect to everyone around them on the lake. Unfortunately, it seems like anglers today only care about themselves. In tournaments, the boaters don't even seem to care about their co-anglers anymore.

Still have 50+ year old "pro anglers" running at top speed over freighter wakes and breaking their own backs. It's an issue with the "sport" in general. The only incidents I've personally had have been courtesy incidents where some elderly fisherman thinks hes entitled the the entire lake and runs over other peoples lines, and another where I witnessed a bass boat glide right up to a bank angler and crowd his spot, casting right on top of him and running the guy off.

Just finished installing mine. A few years ago I was running a northern WI river in the fall and hit an underwater tree branch that extended out in the middle of the river channel that I had run several times the week before. The motor kicked up and the cowl came off and hit me in the back of the head resulting in a few staples in the back of my head. That would not have happened if I had this harness installed. It was an easy install and now I feel more comfortable when running in shallow water and rivers.

Having recently gotten out of college fishing, a large portion of College anglers don't have much sense when driving a boat. I believe a ton of that comes from parents that don't fish get boats for their high school kids and don't know the right ways to drive boats so their kids learn wrong also. I've had multiple high school captains driving just as wrecklessly if not worse than college anglers. One in particular came off pad 20 feet from my boat nearly swamping me to ask if they could fish the ledge I was fishing on Pickwick... horrible examples to follow. Majority should be in aluminum boats not glass boats with 250s

1 rule a 2 stroke outboard makes more torque than these 4 strokes. On to the issues. The Leash awesome idea it’s amazing. There is a bigger issue around the mid 90s tournaments went to 200hp than 225. Never heard of an engine in a bass boat. Like pre opti pop EFI those mercs Hauled the mail vindicator omc carb motor bad ass never heard of on of those in a bass boat. Those were 2 stroke they had more torque

They need to start pulling licenses, both lifetime fishing license bans AND boating reg bans. With as crowded as the fisheries are getting, our society needs to be more selective about who we allow to use our precious resources. Hell, I go to the local state game area and its banks are lined with illegal migrants poaching fish and leaving piles of garbage. "Public" access shouldn't even exist at this point if the "public" organizations like DNR refuse to enforce anything or maintain the areas we pay them to. It's a free for all and there's no reason for anyone to follow the rules or conserve the environment. Guys like me are swamped, outnumbered 100 to 1 and not even the authorities want to get off their butts to help. Every resource worth protecting and using should be privatized, have at least a gate, guard, and entry fee to discourage these trash people from treating our world like trash. Obviously, this collectivist "public free access" approach was a failed experiment. It only allows for terrible people to 1. come ruin what I pay for and 2. sit in an office of authority and not do their job while getting paid by me. Pros and their wannabes are a massive destructive force to our fisheries, but it doesn't stop there. Even urbanite bank anglers are going to help bring an end to our great outdoors. We can't rely on public organizations to preserve what we hold dear, because "public" will always lead to tragedy of the commons.

This is due to the culture today….we just happen to be talking about fishing/boats in this video. *There’s only so much “I don’t give a f^^k” to go around before it starts taking everyone down with them.* They apply that mentality to driving the boat, number of tournaments, how you fish (FFS), where/when you fish, catch & release, how you treat others on the water (which is getting worse now that there’s 50 tournaments per month on every lake in America) etc, etc…. *We’re dealing with 2nd & 3rd generation f^^k-ups, who not only don’t know right from wrong, but who don’t give a flying f-- about ANYTHING but themselves.* They role out of bed with “The end ALWAYS justifies the means, no matter who/what it hurts/destroys”, and/or “Win at ANY/ALL cost”. For those of us who’ve followed this sport since the 70’s & 80’s (which ironically rules out the kid in this video), we’ve watched this coming at us in slow motion the past 20+yrs. I’ve given up trying to talk sense, and the importance of respecting everyone else in society (on or off the water) into these losers….all I care about at this point, is living long enough to watch them destroy each other. Hopefully, they’ll do it without taking someone innocent down with them, which again, always seem to be too much to ask. These are the types of punks who would tell you “Destroying the lives of people minding their own business is half the fun!”… Kind of like dealing with people who still affiliate with the Democrat Party today (which includes 99% of the sh!t-stains destroying this sport). But, I digress….

Yeah bro. I feel you. We have all messed up and done something wrong. Don’t feel sad, because there is hope. All us humans have sinned. God is real and He Loves You. Jesus is the Son of God he died on the cross for all of our sins, he was buried and he rose again. He is alive forever more. Believe on him and have everlasting life. Wheen I die I will be with him forever. If you don't believe in him before you die, when you die you will burn in hell forever. Please believe on him before it's Eternally to late. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. Jesus the Son of God is the only way to heaven.
