Pluto is like a mix between Astro boy and i Robot and a bunch of others but im proud of you for making it through Monster (also made by the same guy) but yeah thankfully Pluto is short but well worth it imo but take your time as i also have not been watching much anime lately. i think that was the last one i watched i thank you for the words about the abridged series as its a lot of work but its fun work. and team4star was a really good one but i have not rewatched it in years. i also remember someone made one for zelda OOT and i remember it being really funny and low budget in a charming way i think you might like that one if its still up. very interesting answer for the last question

I am most of the way through the first episode of Pluto and can see myself continuing it. I'd def be up to checkout the Zelda one although it does feel somewhat sacreligious lol.

I really liked the boring channel answer, I don't mind these giant retrospective type of videos but they feel like they overhype certain classics that might not be for people's taste (I do like learning about their history though). Especially the ones on certain cult classics will cloud your preconceived judgment going into them, and once you realize you don't like that certain game, it happened to me with several games that people hyped online through videos like those that I wasn't blown away or realized that I don't like said game, or heck even with games that were bashed I found myself enjoying. But it does feel like the old school vlog gaming youtube videos is gone because of that, since it doesn't bring in the views, which I always liked the most. Yeah it's boring but you can always have music on another tab while listening or playing a game or do something else while listening.

I certainly partake in listening to the longform, high production content. It's definitely entertaining. I get concerned about dramatization though. I guess it's not new, but the fact videos have to be framed this way to attract viewers has mutated video game identities to be more than what they are (imo). There's a happy medium somewhere, I hope :)
