Damon is the funniest. His stand-up is underrated, and he was arguably the best member on In Living Color. My Wife and Kids was a great sitcom, and he made great movies, as you can see. Followed by Keenan and Shawn and Marlon. Don't sleep on Damon Jr , he's a solid comedian as well as an accomplished TV actor.

Mayor Payne is still my favorite movie. Watch this movie so many times as a kid and I still know every line to the movie. My 3 favorite parts are Major Payne is Payne dancing in the club, Payne telling Tiger a story because he was scared of the Boogeyman in the closet and the tournament towards the end of the movie. Most men in the military eat fast, especially if they were ever enlisted. My husband was enlisted before he got out, went to college, and went back in as an officer. He always finished eating before I ever sat down at the table. I think I’m a little more used to seeing both Keenan and Damon in more serious roles, but when they are coming with the jokes, they bring it. Then, I mainly grew up watching Shawn and Marlon but, Marlon is just so extra and over the top because of the energy that he brings to everything he does. So, I think I’ll go with Marlon as the Wayans that’ll probably get more laughs out of me.

The problem with kids today, is that their parents do not prepare them for the distractions & adversities they will face in life. Things like peer pressure, rejection, and ridicule. These are the things that keep us from reaching our goals, and achieving our dreams. These are the things that lead us into smoking dope, and getting high. Major Payne removed those distractions & adversities, by making these kids realize there were more important things in life, than just being cool.

So glad you like this one. For me, this was one of those staple comedies of my household growing up. Like we're having a bad day, and then we get home and pop in "Major Payne" in the VCR. Always a good time. And it's super rewatchable. Give it about a month and then pop it on and you'll be rolling all over again.

i went into the army the year after this came out, all our drill sergents were big fans of this movie and they used a lot of the terminology from the movie in training like Front Leaning Rest Position MOVE! the reason he eats fast at the club is because of the military training. durring training we had to scarf down our food standing and sliding down a long table out in the training areas, who ever was last had to drop off the line and dump their tray, so you had about 3 minutes to eat or you were gonna be hungry for the rest of the day lol. this is one of my fav military movies to get nostolgic about my time in the service. love all his flashbacks, but my fav is when he makes the boogie man unhappy in the closet. i had a sergent just like him in my AIT job training

When I got to high school I joined the rotc and once I had my own platoon in my junior year I did a marching drill for one of my promotion tests with a ton of references to this movie thrown in for shits and giggles. I got docked some points for it but I still passed and got promoted so it was worth it!

My dad served 32 years active duty united states army all my friends growing up used to compare my dad to major Payne lol they all said he's the white major Payne lol dad was a drill sergeant for 10 years. Dad was blown up 56 times by ieds in Iraq he served 4 tours in Iraq had his back broke in an IED strike and was honorably medically retired with 32 years active duty service with 2 bronze stars with valor. Dad was killed in a motorcycle accident December 1st of 2020 rest in peace dad you will never be forgotten.

Check out The Last Boy Scout with Damon Wayans and Bruce Willis Halle Berry plays a stripper, Bruce is a Private Investigator and Damon is a Pro Football player. They are great and their comedic sarcastic one liners work well bouncing between them. That movie put Damon on the top of my list, over his brothers. I’d watch him in any role. He’s also hilarious in the tv episodes, My Wife and Kids and Lethal Weapon.
