I just want to lucid dream consistently. Currently I am somewhat aware that I am dreaming in that I'll know in that environment I can fly etc. I just don't seem to have any ability to actually bend the dream to what I want to dream about.

Sounds like you're getting lucid then, but you want to remember what you wish to do and improve dream control. Are you consistently practicing with lucid dreaming? Dream control itself is a separate skill. I like to describe it as strongly associating the actions you take and decisions you make with the results you want to have happen.

I just need to remember to look at my hands, count the fingers. This is almost invariably how I achieve lucidity- But they used to be much more frequent.

For some weird reason I can see it in the comments list on my channel but not on the video when I go to it. Let me see if responding to it makes it appear! Edit: It's still not showing for me (except in the comments section of KZbin studio where I can see it) but that's weird, because I haven't removed it and it's not in the "Held for review" section where comments normally go if KZbin detects them as spam or whatever. Maybe see if it'll let you post it again.

​@@Tipharot It is curious! When I log in, I see my post and your response. When I check from another computer, they are both gone. Clearly, Google is out to eradicate my existence. I don't take it personally. But I am glad I didn't offend. Sometimes humor doesn't translate well, and you are one of my favorite lucid dream channels. On this note, I agree with the other poster, I miss your face. And could I also add, fwiw, I am turned off by the overly produced clickbait imagery I see on most channels. I don't know the extent to how much work goes into producing a video, but some of my favorite ones are simply a guy talking into his cellphone camera as he walks outside, just sharing a piece of his world with us. Also, I like your simple approaches to lucid dreaming. I have seen very little evidence that complicating the process does anything but hinder results. I think embracing a MED (minimum effective dose) protocol would do worlds of good for many. JMHO, of course!

I miss seeing your face in these videos. I think you have easily some of the very most helpful lucid dreaming advice on KZbin, but the video game background has a way of making your videos feel like something far cheaper and more commercial than they are (and I say that as someone who loves video games.)

Thanks for letting me know. I wasn't sure whether people prefer the facecam videos, background footage, or my older text on screen/presentation style videos - so I've just been trying out the different styles sort of randomly to see if I can figure out which people prefer from the analytics. I'll be sure to appear more on camera in the near future then if people want that :)

Yeah. That's not true. I didn't have a single lucid dream. I have a never ending lucid nightmare instead.
