IF you look at how much time it needs to get the idea worked out and the money spend. There are many ways to monetize a D.R.E. asset. It depends on the kind of traffic you're getting and how much of it. Typically, display ads, affiliate links, or your own product is the best. I've done all of those and having your own product is $$$$$

Because although it may be scraped, it's not copying anything. An address or business name isn't plagiarism. The pages are too thin. The better question is how does a page with such thin content rank? I'd say because there just isn't any competition for the vast majority of their keywords.
