When you lined up the gold binding the sunflowers diminished - they look much more prominent with the replacement. Small stockings would be a good addition to the Christmas tree - fill with some choccies! Cheers Maureen.

I think the gold binding on the table runner would show the mistakes (bad corners) more than the subdued green binding, which I like better. The stocking is very cute, and looks easy. I'm rushing to finish my tree skirt, so I don't know if I'll get to the stockings for this Christmas, but I'll make them ahead for next year.

Small stockings could be cute name tags for gifts too and then go on the tree next year.

The beauty of video is that your patrons Don't have to watch in real time. It might take more than 30 minutes but we see your steps in sequence and would sew like the wind! The first one always takes longer, the rest you can knock out quicker cuz you're set, know the drill and can fire up your treadle machine. Heh, heh, heh.

30 minutes!? That long to draw and cut the template, plus time to select the fabric. Then 30 minutes to cut and sew. The video should have shown in real time to draw, cut, select fabric, cut, sew, and finish, to show 30 minutes. That's my opinion, The Opinionated Viewer
