Super helpful video!! I’ve been struggling with creating svgs without my glowforge doing weird things like cutting a shape twice, and this made so much sense. I’m excited to increase my design skills because my shop is open but I’m not getting any traffic yet. Off to download affinity!

Ms. Victoria I am by no means a computer savvy person which I learned quickly after getting my glowforge so now for my birthday my family is going to buy me a brand new IPad do you think thats a good move to strengthen my GF BUSINESS PLEASE I would like your honest opinion I gave a brand new Mac Pro but so intimidated by it and I see you using your iPad making it look pretty easy thank you

Hi! I do for sure, if you want to create your own designs. It’s all I use for drawing out new designs… I use an app called procreate which is pretty intuitive and easy to learn. 😊

I thought I followed the video step by step, but it won’t let me “add geometry” the only thing that I noticed was different is that my fill mode is set to “winding” instead of “alternate” but it won’t let me change that. Any suggestions? I feel so close but so far away haha

I may have figured it out, it will let me add geometry if I select each individual curve instead of doing a whole layer at a time 🤷‍♀️ I am curious though how you made your circles without a fill. Sorry for all the comments haha!

@@corinnes6227 Hi Corinne! No worries! I'm trying to recreate the issue... you shouldn't have to select individual curves. Did you draw with the brush tool? You'll also want to make sure you're on the right layer that you're trying to select... sometimes that can be an issue! lol

Unfortunately you can't because ProCreate is a pixel-based program not vector. 😒
