What a great textile, best part is ‘no turning’, and we get to use all those great stitches on our machines. Another fabulous project Mister Domestic, would make these for ‘moi’ to store scissors, seam rippers and other ‘sharps’ of the trade. Yay!

That’s awesome! I have kraft-tex and I love finding new ways to use it. I only have light & dark brown, black, white & grey- I didn’t know it came in colours 😀😀😀 I’ve stamped on kraft-tex and washed, dried & ironed it. That stuff is great! I hope you’ll share more ways to use this great product 🙏

Did you use cotton or polyester thread? Does it matter? I really would like to try the Tex kraft product.

In this video we used Aurifil 50wt cotton thread, but you can use polyester as well!

Hello Sharon! He started with one sheet of Kraft-Tex that is 8.5" x 11", so the approximate finished size of the pouch is 5" x 8". However, we do not recommend doing this with pouch with regular fabric unless you use something that does not fray, like flannel or treating fabric with Terial Magic. The Kraft-Tex allows this pouch to have unfinished edges because it is stiff like paper.

You should give the dimensions of the fabric and the zipper. Also, can you use regular fabric?

A quick Google search shows that the sheets in the sample pack he shows are 8 1/2" x 11".

Hello! Maria is correct, the dimensions start at paper size 8.5 X 11" and the zipper is 8.5" long. You can definitely use regular fabric but make sure to finish your seams since we did not need to do that with the kraft tex.
