So by any chance does anyone know the ingredients for the sauce because the link here says its currently unavailable
@1stladimai28 күн бұрын
Ingredient Listing for anyone experiencing error messages on the site: 2 lbs. sweet potatoes (peeled and chopped into ½-inch chunks) 1 cup brown sugar ¾ cup maple syrup 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg ¼ teaspoon ground allspice ¼ teaspoon sea salt 1 tablespoon vanilla extract ½ cup unsalted butter ½-1 orange, freshly squeezed Instructions Peel and chop the sweet potatoes into ½-inch chunks. Aim for even sizes so they cook evenly. In a medium pot, add the sweet potatoes, brown sugar, maple syrup, butter, orange juice, vanilla, salt, and spices. Stir everything together to coat the sweet potatoes completely. Place the pot over medium-high heat and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover with a lid, and let it simmer for 40-45 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking and ensure the potatoes cook evenly. Once the sweet potatoes are fork-tender, remove the lid and increase the heat to medium. Stir frequently while the liquid reduces and thickens into a caramel-like sauce, about 5-10 minutes. Remove from heat and serve warm. These yams shine as a side dish but can even double as a dessert!

@RJ-wd4exАй бұрын
I love the stove top method from your previous instructions . The oven takes too long. This is quicker and more flavorful . I can’t wait to try the maple syrup that’s different for me . Yams and Mac and cheese is always the star of the show on Thanks giving for me . When u mix that with some greens, that combo is divine lol.

I boil my sweet potatoes for a few minutes first, then I make the sauce, put in a casserole dish and bake them in the oven for about 20 minutes they come out perfect and don't break. My sauce is orange juice, butter, brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla flavor and a pinch of salt. Boil over low heat and pour over the sweet potatoes. Real cooks don't measure!!! 😇
