*Spoilers for Episode 9 Below:* I think it's cool that so many effects in this show are achievable in 2D compositing. I guess they thought it might be cheaper and faster since this is just a TV show. One that comes to mind is the glitchy object transformations in episode 7 that, to me, look like the reshape effect in after effects with glitch elements placed over the top. It seems like they even recreated effects from previous films in 2D where it usually was 3D, such as the skrull transformation in the post credit scene from episode 9 that was also cleverly shot and lit to make it a lot easier for it to look real in 2D compositing. I'm not saying this is a bad thing, I'm just excited that this is something that I could do and shows that the creatives of the show are being really smart with their use of time, effort and technology. :)

I actually just watched the Wandavision making of last night and they had a more correct/complicated name for it, which I already forgot. They also had a little vfx breakdown, which would have been nice to have before.
@videoforge82083 жыл бұрын
@@AdrianJensen I know it sucks lol. They only showed the VFX breakdown because they KNOW talent like ours serves as a threat lol. They are afraid of what we as VFX artists can do lol. You should definitely do a tutorial of the changing anomalies from WandaVision. Such as transforming a military truck into an ice cream truck lol.

@nightmime83973 жыл бұрын
@@DarkShadow-le6cp ‘Witch’ is gender-neutral, meaning that it can go for any gender. ‘Warlock’ means oath-breaker or traitor, which is someone who cannot be trusted, and ‘wizard’ is just a bunch of Harry Potter bullcrap. In case you didn’t know 😌

I guess people don't understand that the word for male AND female witches IS witch... the word warlock is more offensive than anything and in addition to that wizard is a gender-neutral term so women and men can be wizards :|
@harrypotterfan25362 жыл бұрын
I understand that the word ‘witch’ can refer to both females and males-but I was wondering if there was a more common name for males who practice magic can go by. Because people often associate witches with women, so I was wondering if there was a more suitable word for a male that practices magic. Or is it just witch?
