I just hit the 3k parts max, so unfortunately my base will not include a pool. On the brightside, I did build it in the middle of the ocean... on a donut island. I'll just slum it with my private lake. Good video, I might make use of these ideas in the future.

Hello Taylor, so i accidentally found a wild BaseComputer a long time ago, when i first started playing NMS, and i made my base there and it was awesome couse it had a lot of flat land. Alas that save has gone and now that i'm back into NMS i'd like to do the same, however i accidentally found a base computer on an icy world and i'm not really into those kind of planets, however i did find a pretty awesome looking golden & blue paradise planet (not crazy about the grass tho') where i'd like to setup shop. So the question is from the "Habitable Structures" Chart ... witch location should i rerun (get a shelter, go to shelter clear it and then use a new chart) for me to find a habitable base computer.

Hmmmmm - I’m not sure what you’re asking. Base computers are built, not “found.”

@@WhiskyBarrelGaming there is a POI of flat land with a base computer at the center, if you access that base computer, you take over that said base.

I hate this game. This game building mechanics blow chunks. I had to restart my based from scratch because the stupid stairs I constructed wouldn't let me go up them. This game is been out for so long they really need to take some time and polish the build mechanics and improve them because a three year old and a monkey could design better build better mechanics then no man sky.

I had a few problems building my underwater tunnel at Ocean Beaches. First since underwater prefabs have to be underwater I had to use a regular prefab at the waterline. Second I built the prefabs and tunnels what I thought was far enough below the water line but, not too low in case I had high spots underwater. Turns out when I built a few prefabs in the line I had to drop one down apparently from the curvature of the planet. Either that or the tunnel wasn't level. Third since I built it there's been a few updates. For some reason the updates has changed the underwater plants and such. Where I had clean tunnels before I now have things obstructing some of the tunnels. I'm not sure how wide it is. My visor says 7 minutes wide it doesn't give distance. I'm pretty sure I counted around 200 pieces of tunnel and 20 prefabs wide.
