For the zerk fitting on the cross member , point it down and drill a hole in the skid plate so you can have access to the fitting.

Those cutting slats have grown a little bit, but look like they have a few miles left. Thanks for the shout out!... We discontinued that original design, but do still have a round tub option along with the roll arounds that you mentioned. Your Jag build is coming along nice, lots of custom tabs and brackets to make. I can't wait to see the rest of the progress!

I know I'm not an expert, but I really think you should have boxed in both sides of the frame of the engine and transmission and a little bit further back to keep from torque twisting. Those motor mounts seem a little sketchy. Keep up the great content! I've been watching you guys for years! Thank you!

911 still makes that plasma table dust catch, and they also have two or three other configurations as well. I have a set of their plasma stencils, and they are very handy.

Glad you like the plasma stencils! We switched up the tables when we came out with the new adjustable length clamp design, that's what also allowed us to make the new versions too. That version Matt has is still a great one though.

Can you explain why you put the bushings on the end of the transmission cross member?

The engine is mounted on rubber, so the transmission has to be mounted on rubber as well. Otherwise one would flex, one wouldn't, and something would break. Usually the rubber on a transmission mount is under the transmission about 3 to 5 inches thick. But we don't want that for a rockcrawler. Belly clearance is key.

Not for nothing but do you really need a grease zert on the transmission crossmember? Once its mounted it doesn't move. There is no real flex there so don't think its going to matter. That said I think you guys build is the best one out of the build challange vehicles and yes I vote every day for you guys...🤓

flat paint will dry quicker than gloss but it has zero protective qualities due to being so porous. the glossier the better. people found this out the hard way when flat painting cars were the rage. they found the best way to have a flat finish that was protective is to paint the car in gloss then finish with flat for looks.

Well in Europe they do make smaller diesels but because of smog regulations here in the USA the smaller ones never caught on and the ones here are mainly for big trucks hauling heavy loads. They produce a lot of Torque.
