I just wanted to say that with your recipe my clay came out perfect. From what I have determined 130g of glue is equal to 8 U.S. fluid oz. which is equal to 1 U.S. cup.

They crack during air drying if I'm not careful. But even in those cases, the cracks can be filled in using the same cold porcelain clay batch.

either you live in a very dry climate or your measurements are too wet I just tried it and I ran out of any extra (started with a large container and added a 2nd one and what was in an open small box} cornstarch trying to make it thicker or the measurements posted on the screen were wrong.

What is the difference between air dry clay with cold porcelain clay
@wolfraven2671

Nagajothi Rajendran cold porcelain is like an air dry version of polymer clay
@sujadutta
@sujadutta 8 ай бұрын
@nagajothirajendran6064 My understanding is this.... Polymer clay needs baking after you create ur craft. Airdry clay is just mixing the ingredients, no need to cook, you can store and use. Cold porcelei clay is airdry clay which is cooked.

Hi Sharina, it will harden within a few hours if not kept sealed in an airtight container/plastic. It gets hard, basically similar to plastic. But it's susceptible to water damage if you don't use a sealant afterwards (I use clear varnish on mine, but there are others you can use like polyurethane, which is better because it adds a tougher layer but it's more expensive.) As for the clay going bad, it will go bad (there will be a change in consistency) after some time even if you kept it sealed, but it can be easily "revived" by kneading in small amounts of the ingredients again (oil, starch, and glue.)
