but remove the center channel so when you send it you’re not doubling up the main center signal and boost both sides to 0db but that doesn’t rly make a difference

I have done this trick years ago. It does tend to add more presence to vocals and makes them stand out more.

No need to put this on an aux if you have the middle channel (white dot) activated, that’s just the dry signal. Disable the middle channel on an aux, keep if it’s on an audio track.

I tried but mine also sounds more like a echo background and not a split . Don’t see a major difference . I did the aux track thing … and made sure the tracks I wanted had the bus on it so they all had the same effect . Didn’t work as good tho I don’t know what I’m doing wrong

Does anyone know how I can do this in Logic? I don’t know of any doubler plugins that have the option to remove the “direct” signal like this Cubase stock doubler.

Your going to need to get a 3rd party plugin like this one (Waves Doubler 2) or Izotope Doubler

Yea They Are Usually In The Middle, But You Can Increase The Space Of The Vocal And Mix, So It Doesn't Feel So ''Flat'' Being Perfectly In The Middle
