I'M SO HAPPY I DISCOVERED THESE!! I was about to breakdown in stress over trying to figure out how to make a custom LED helmet for one of my dream cosplays. So many ways i found just didn't work for one reason or another, but i think i can make these work!! Super excited to use these!!!

I’ve always had this idea many years ago as a dream of mine and now i see you making it happen and possible for me too, thank you and the great people behind this amazing product i truly believe that this is gonna be the world style in the future and I can’t wait to start my own smart clothing line. This whole style is just so beautiful and futuristic it’s just a shame that it’s not the main style of fashion in our world this time yet but yeah can’t wait to see it happen in the future or create the road to it along with such creative people like you.

Is there an API I could use to control the matrix automatically from an app on the phone? I'd love it if I could build an app to send designs right to it based on things like your phone's GPS location, email or text notifications, etc.
@insightmanners68764 жыл бұрын
I think the app just sending the serial data to that led, as u can see there are a microcontroller in that led. You can see the neopixel led tutorial to do that
@hoiblij67374 жыл бұрын
I suppose these are ws2812b leds. You can control those fairly easily with a microcontroller such as an arduino and the fastled library.

For the small one that goes around the models neck, it would be very nice if you had a sleeve that it fit in that on the ends had some sort of adjustable fastening device so that it could be worn and snapped into place depending on a few neck sizes. And now I see this is 2 years old, haha, let me pop over to your site.

Not currently: you can send the same image to multiple panels at once, but they can't be directly linked together. Looking into this for future though!

Cool stuff but its nothing new. These thin panels have been out for years starting with t shirts, hats and masks paired with sound sensors to animate the leds and techy ravers would do full on led display outfits. However back in the day people would have to use a pc for images and texts then would have to upload it to the display so it cool the phone controller apps.

What if I cut it so that way I can put it in a mask I'm making, would it still turn on ?
@GeorgeZaharia3 жыл бұрын
probably not, since is LED and has wires between each light emitter... but you don't need to cut it, just buy a exact fit for your mask, a 4inch display should do it. but will be the most expensive face mask you will ever see... that 4 inch display alone is 50-150$ depending on bulk orders you do... not to mention the arduino etc u will use.
