Would I be able to put snake skin on the outside? Would this cause a problem with burnishing? Or the snakeskin burnish like leather? Just getting into weather work,any help would be nice thank you.

Unfortunately the snake skin will not burnish like other leathers. Most folks who use exotics like this either create a rolled edge or border the snakeskin. Basically by border it i mean make it an inlay by building a picture frame around it of veg tan or other burnishable leather.

What size hole punch do I need to buy for the credit card slots?

I use a 3/16" punch. But, DO NOT use the punch through the template. I can very easily split the template. mark where the holes go, remove the template, then punch the holes.
