Great intro to several modifiers! I'm feeling more confident with trying things after you've given this sort of overview! The linked duplicates is great to know. I'm also thinking about applying a sidewalk texture and the displace modifier with Voronoi crackle looks interesting! Keep up the great work!

the best blender tutorials, enjoying your humble enthusiasm and your truly technical approach to blender, I notice that people tends to somehow, separate organic/arty from parametric, when very often, arty, demands as much precission as modeling for 3Dprinting, cnc, lathe machines and so, thanks to your tips on array for example, now I can make a dome for a cathedral, what could be more artistic and technical at the same time. ^^ ! keep it on - 🍄🍄🍄 - it is meaningful

@@Keep-Making , there I am at this very minute, the most detailed and precise work for explaining blender indeed, your pedagogic skills are truly remarkmable, diggin on PDT uh, I am only using that for modeling since I started using it, I can do everything exactly as I want straight from the beginning. -- no single boolean anymore --- °°! --)) --- I strongly encourage all blenders using it, artists will be the ones for finding the huge advantages of it. as for cad users is nothing new mainly.- realy artists, most of the problems when applying modifiers are a result of not having a propper edited mesh in the first place and not having a minimum rigor knowledge on real basic geometry and phisics, for hard polyers..hey you and the robots, listen! ;), the best of PDT, it forces to make and have a complete planification of the project and having a straight clean and logic line of work. feeels goood yyiiiiiih by the research on PDT I noticed that the community may not be fully aware of what it means having CAD aplications too integrated into blender. and as simple as it is by now !!, I can´t wait for what Clockmender brings next )) however I am still missing a bit deeper manuals and realistic applications for these tools, specialy for PDT, tangents,,,that is a mistery...and trigonometrical waves, it would be great if the cycles of the waves could be editable, like flipping angle /direction or shifting the tangent point, things like that..and surely soon, it will be needed some drag and drop for directly scaling angles curves and elipses, it feels a bit ancient karate kung fu this only one way one chanceonlytothend to do stuff , in general in blender, to my view, if the idea is emplementing technic precision modeling and more, the lack of an editable parametric history...is a general considerable issue in blender..on the overall, the issue of the curves/nurbs/poly, but mostly the lack of a parametric workline....hmmhh (may god hear my prayers ;) ) great great thing you have here, hopefuly soon I will have some decent stuff for sharing on discord. thank you for your wellcoming keep it up mate

Would love to see more on the subdivision surface modifier and general organic modelling as that is what I'm needing as a basis for my current project. Trying to create a curved smooth surface which is essentially a sort of cylinder that has been "pulled out" in different directions at certain spots on the surface

I noticed something that may be a bug. Look at the Outliner at 2:06 into the tutorial. Why is the copy (Cube.002) made from Cube given an Object Data of Cube.001 and not Cube? Seems to me it should be Cube which is what Cube.001 has as its Data Set. Copy Cube.001 to make Cube.003. Its Data Set is Cube.002 which makes no sense because it was copied from Cube.001. It confusing because the Data Properties names don't necessarily match the Object Name. Rename the Object and the Data Property name remains the same. Needs some thinking.

I got a question. Just learning blender and trying to combine some models from two separate models to one model to take advantage of a larger printer. Right now I take two aposing vertices and changing the world origin to mirror match and bring the model to world center. Then I go vertices by vertices to make sure they line up perfect and boolean it together. I would imagine there has to be a faster way to line up two models to combined it to one. I would be first in line to watch a video on that or being pointed in the right direction. Ty
