Allana I would love if watched multiple professional working MUAs go through their entire process and trying out all of their techniques(you could do a series!) and at the end you could see if you learned something and what you noticed about it IRL and if you would incorporate their techniques in your everyday makeup.

How about a part two with other techniques you might not normally use, but the opposite of this? So things like only pin point concealing, water colour blush, reverse order for base products etc.? Just a thought

This is a great idea! Would also suggest the reverse face contouring that Scott Barnes always uses, or maybe a blotted lip à la Katie Jane Hughes. 🌹

I much prefer and love your original natural makeup style (could be because it resonates with my personal style). I totally don't get the baking, I had a professional makeup artist do my makeup for prom and she did the baking and I'm telling you if felt so strange and uncomfortable. The look in the video where you used the Clinique foundation was my favorite.

You look stunning, Allana! I love the look! I take forever to do full glam, but part of the fun is getting ready. I only bake if I'm know there'll be photos taken or I need my makeup to be invincible. Magnetic liner and lashes have made all the difference for me.

What a set up! The 2 cameras, the "concealer" voice over 😂😂😂 I had to repeat it. Love that you and Dejan are doing some changes, new things, etc (editing/music/intros/etc) 🤩💕 and for the makeup it's so weird seeing you baking ... LOL! But the eyes 😍 WOW
@velvetp57543 жыл бұрын
I remember when Kim K’s baking photo made the rounds and everyone started doing it! I tried it and it made my eyes look crepe-y asf. I noticed it on friends too who LOVE to bake. The way I see it is that baking comes off very smooth and filtered on-camera. But in person, it’s not flattering. That’s why I love the makeup artist Hrush! She always mentions how some techniques are meant for the cameras & not for everyday use! note: I know Kim K. didn’t create the baking concept. The drag queen community did. So pls don’t come for me.

Lashes: Green or Blue Duo Glue with the brush applicator, life changing. Quick drying and hard to over apply glue. I look almost all the way down in a mirror at my chin and come from above with my tweezers. Place center first, inner corner then outer corner. So glamorous Lan! Love how everything turned out. I'm the same with baking, like I've never really tried it. Same with falsies...I've never tried them....I'm too scared lol. Plus I do have really long lashes so I feel I don't need them, but would like to try a half lash to start. Another trick for long lasting makeup is after your setting spray, very gently go over your face with a beauty sponge when the spray is almost dry, then just use a bit more powder on your t-zone. Loved this video xoxo 😘 ❤

Wow, thanks for taking one for the team. I like to take time to put on makup, I think it's very relaxing; but when you're trying to remember the steps, that's intense. You looked awesome, would be great wedding makeup! Baking never worked for me, my skin hates an overabundance of powder; but a certain amount is necessary, or your makeup just melts away.

One tip that has helped me with eyelash application, besides practice, is using a black brush on lash glue. Revlon, Kiss and Duo all have one. I feel like it's so much easier than the squeeze tube. Adding an extra little ball at the inner and outer corner helps also so you don't have lifting.
