I happened on a few deets in the course of my life on this topic. Some 19, 20 years ago when my daughter was having a 6th grade party all the kids took their shoes off and started dancing. I mentioned to the teacher that all the kids had really big feet. She said it was because of the hormones put in the foods. I do know shortly after that hormones in milk was banned but i remember my parents telling me in the 70s that a chicken normally takes 9 months to grow and back then they could get it to grow in 4 1/2, thats not including now. Another thing about Tyson. At Krogers here in the greater Cincinnati area they sell a cheaper chicken called Heritage Farm. It tastes like its been eating the chicken of all the other chickens well because it has. It is also a Tyson owned lower grade chicken, and from time to time I too have I bought it. For some strange reason either age or whatever meat doesnt agree with me like it used to and I never eat it as a main course. There was a video out some years ago that got leaked from a Purdue Chicken Company here in Ohio and from the abuse and neglect of the chickens to the entrapment of making the employees live in trailers with no heating and no way to ask for help. They knew these young men were underage Mexicans and i forget the whole story but one of the kids was able to get ahold of an uncle and that was how they got out of there.

Thank you for this video! I learned soooo much like i always do from your channels!💕 Its crazy that companies can legally be so disgusting and still be able to serve all of us the food while profiting billions. Since we now know what's going on why hasn't anything been done about it? Is there not some kind of health inspection that their factories have to pass at least yearly? Tyson should have been shut down decades ago or they should be made to follow safety and health procedures like restaurants do. I can't believe they get away with this still to this day.

I feel like the "one amputation a month" statistic is presented in a slightly misleading manner. That's not a single processing plant; that's across 45 separate plants. There are actually a lot of safety measures within the plants that if used correctly prevent horrific injuries. Signed, An Occupational Health Nurse

Tyson is riddled with evil. If you're not doing it right, I don't want any part of it, and I'll do my diligence to ensure I don't end up consuming anything produced by them or anyone like them. So, Alabamian here with a plant in my town. The smell consumes half the city. It's awful. I have trauma as a kid seeing the trucks full of chickens... they employee mostly undocumented individuals, that's how they get away with the treatment. My mom, dad, step dad, and several friends have worked there. The smell is from the water... 😬 I promised myself as a kid that I would work literally anywhere other than the chicken plant. They're awful. Our hormone levels in the water kinda match.... 😬

How do you keep your nutrients balanced? And not have vitamin deficiencies? Respectfully asking… cuz I eat hella chicken and kinda don’t wanna now:… but not sure how to maintain being healthy

@@therandomfamily8371vitamins and minerals are mostly in veggies and fruits. You can get protein from beans, tofu, nuts, lentils, etc. Vegan alternatives are great too

@@therandomfamily8371yes and if you’re worried about deficiencies due current to health problems, there are vegan vitamins and supplements too, but honestly when I went vegan chicken was the first and easiest thing I gave up, then I gave up other things one at a time. Thanks for caring about the chickens, they really get the worst :(

@@therandomfamily8371 easily, never been deficient in anything and I’ve been vegetarian/vegan since I was 5. By choice btw. Nutritional yeast has tons of b12, and vegans have better levels Vs meat eaters. Eat a variety (lentils, tofu, veggies, fruit.) If you struggle with protein lots of vegan protein powders exist. The influencer “thatveganbabe” has tons of recipes for high protein.

Hi Bailey, don’t know if I’m the only one, but KZbin literally never recommends your videos, even though I’m subscribed, turned all notifications and binge watch you all the time. If I watch you it’s only because I’ve searched you. Don’t know it it’s a conspiracy here but maybe you exposing all these corporations doesn’t sit well with their advertisers 😁
