Nikki Uncut: Testing NEW Makeup

Some of the best videos are makeup artist running into problems or makes a user error then shows how they fix it in real time. A lot of beauty creators, makeup artists will edit it out, even redo a whole video to avoid having us see that they too run into obstacles, but it is always a huge missed opportunity for everyone to teach us how to then correct it without having to redo everything or a particular area of the face. Not that you had a massive mistake in this, but we the viewers (the students😂) just always appreciate when it’s left in a video.

Yes, I had that first iconic Barbie doll -- I'm 71 and had a great collection since childhood, but sadly lost them all in a move years ago. And funny that you did blue eye shadow because I've been yearning to try wearing blue again after watching a NYC reality real estate show and the cute realtor lady, Michele Kleier, wore blue eyeshadow that looked great on her. Love the blue on you. Yes, neutrals are great, but color can be so refreshing. Love it all. Thanks for the great videos and recommendations.

I love this look! I’ve been wanting to try this new Shiseido foundation so I’m really glad to see this today. I personally like the no mascara trend. My favorite daytime look is great skin, a soft red lip, groomed brows and curled lashes but no mascara. I find that’s it’s so much easier to touch up or do a different look for the evening if I haven’t applied mascara early in the day.

Hi Nikki! I am a neutral eyeshadow girly too but this blue is STUNNING. And I agree - wear what makes you feel beautiful and confident. Trends come and go, but our natural beauty is timeless ;) A trend I cannot stand is the super glowy makeup. Looks stunning on others, but for my oily and acne prone skin, it just doesn't work out.

Your application saved your look today. I really liked the lip balm ! The eye look is exactly like my mother used to wear in the sixties , hers was an Estée Lauder cream stick & sometimes she wore the same turquoise blue colour like yours & a green colour and she always did a little wing like yours (she just passed away last year at 99) One other thing she had and used were stencils for her eyebrows & for her winged liner😢. hiiii nikki!!! i know i’ve missed your “nikki uncut” videos, and they bring me so much zen… especially still being stuck in the hospital. i’ve LOVED jessica haze for soooo long, and i relate to her style so much, but she’s drop dead gorgeous and incredibly creative. i still want the lipstick from her last collection with mob beauty, and i hope it’s still around. i think mob beauty as a brand is awesome, and it’s indeed started by the prior creator of mac. don’t get me wrong, i will ALWAYS love mac, but mob is so innovative with their products. i would love to pick up the blue cream eyeshadow and both of her lip balms. i’ve heard their translucent powder is really good. i still want to try the em cosmetics powder and the youngblood cream blush in brûlée!!! that blue all over your eyes looks GORGEOUS!!! you look amazing in blues, and it definitely brings out your eyes and dark hair. i’ve been searching for a denim color like this for a reallllly long time, and i hope it’s around for a while, so i can get it. that deep purple wing was an stunning compliment to the look. i love how you’re talking to the doggies as your working. ooooh, thank you for showing the translucent powder to set the cream shadow!!! i’m going to pick up the mini abh brow freeze gel to see if it’ll work on my brows. omg, did you see their lunar new year highlighter?!?! i want it soooo freaking badly!!! bff and bff2 colourpop lip liners are two of my favorites!!! thank you for teaching me the powder trick on top of the lips before liner!!! i tried it a couple months ago, and it worked out soooo freaking well!!! there will NEVER be a day when i don’t wear mascara. i would feel naked without my mascara. i loveeee cool tones, and that balm is stunning, and i need it in my life someday… along with the black balm. i love half caked’s products and they have sales often. their liquid shadows are fire. i’m obsessed with your look!!! nikki, you’re such a betty!!! I have that foundation and I have dry skin. I absolutely love it. Gives me a nice glow but not greasy at all! It does feel like a drink of water to my face. It’s really good for me. Of course I’m older than you but I like most of the Shiseido foundations.
