Curious as to how these blotted lips compare to generation G lipstick from Glossier which is a beloved formula of mine but VERY expensive. I may get a couple just to see. As usual, I feel I can skip the pallet because I have most of those already mentioned. Thanks Amanda!

Really wish they would've released these in quads. I'm not buying the whole huge thing for (maybe) 3 shadows out of 4 rows. I love my "Dare to Bare" so my hope is that this will do well and they'll release quads in the mauve, violet & grey tones. Thank you so much Amanda! Have a great day!

I was really excited to pick up this palette after Christmas because I think it's a really beautiful, but since it's so close to Stone Cold Fox, I'm having second thoughts now. The look you did was absolutely gorgeous! I love how you kept the lid dark as opposed to going light with it. I always go light. I never think of going a full dark lid. It was absolutely stunning. Nice to see the blotted lips back.❤❤

I squealed with excitement when I discovered they brought back the Blotted Lip line! I know the old ones were dry, but I still loved them. Lolly was my go-to everyday lipstick and Shook looks very similar. So happy!!

What is up with CP & midtone shades? Either you only get one to choose from or you several of essentially the same shade. It's so frustrating. Is it that hard to make an actual gradation of tone or just to add variation of temperature, hue saturation or depth to a palette full of midtones? This palette had so much potential but they didn't quite hit the mark imo.

I don’t mind so much that the palettes can be duped with other palettes. It just stinks that CP couldn’t push it a bit further. Dupes/similar shades within in a palette - ugh! They could have substituted a true matte white, plum, navy, olive green, some grungy colors. This really could have been THE matte companion palette 😕

I agree they could have done better and maybe a 15 pan pallet with the colors that you mentioned also they could have done two for different skin tones.

Agree all around. Duping other palettes has never bothered me because ¹ I rarely purchase palettes so it's likely I don't have the dupes and ² if I did, there's no way I'd be pulling out 2 or more palettes for doing my eyeshadow. But yeah, within the same palette is sorta like (the company) wasting my money on a shade that could have given me another option.

The only use I can personally think of for the palette would be to pull shades from it to create my own palettes, but I just can't go without shimmer. Even if I try, I will end up with sparkle somewhere xD

My New Year's resolution was to put the brakes on my Colourpop purchases, which are out of control (and have been x4-5 years!). Your reviews are priceless to me, you do great swatches, discuss the formulas, in short nobody comes close to you! So I watched this again today because this palette is currently on sale on the Colourpop website. I was sitting here with my finger on the purchase button, but am deciding against it because I probably already have all these shades in quadruplicate! Seems like you could come up with the matte shades in the palette between bare necessities and stone cold fox. Plus you get shimmers with those two. Great review thanks!

I am an all-matte lover, so I will get the palette, but I do wish they would've done a little more color....or instead of a mega palette, done more of the all-matte 9-pans in other colors. I loved the mega palette ranking you did in the Smoke and Roses video. I keep going back to rewatch that one. I wouldn't expect you to do another whole ranking, but am curious where you might insert this into the hierarchy.

I am so excited for the blotted lip! Loved the old formula, but now I prefer lipsticks over liquid lipstick so this is perfect. It may be a dupe for the Nars soft Matte lips. Also the only thing in that palette that I need a dupe for is that 4th column ASAP!

I guess I got busy when this premiered and just opened and liked without paying attention to most of it because I have needed your "easy smokey eye" tutorial in my life forever. I personally don’t mind repetitive shades because most people won’t buy every single palette and it allows consumers to choose which color story they prefer most without having to be stuck with shades they don’t like.

Melty, Los Feliz and Shook seem like very easy to throw on over lip liner and go type shades for me. I'm guessing that while not transfer proof, they may do okay with mask wearing? I say this because of their being more balmy and sheerer, so perhaps smudges won't be to glaringly noticeable.

I think I remember that the thing with the blotted lips is that you don’t need a lip liner. That’s why I bought them, but they sucked. Is it still the case that you don’t need a liner?

I think this mega palette is great for someone who only has 2 or 3 other eyeshadow palettes or, as you said, for work on clients. I like it, it's pretty. But I don't need it. Having said that, CP said it was their 'first' all mattes mega palette. So I'm curious to see what other all matte colour stories they'll come up with.

Thanks so much for reviewing this. 🤗 I just got my gone matte palette. It doesn’t look as big as your pan.🧐 Mine says total net wt. 33g (1.16 Oz) & it measures 6.1/4 inches length & 6.1” tall . The pans look smaller than the pans in your video. Am I wrong or right? Happy w/the pallet, but I thought it was going to be a little bigger. I ordered a pressed powder in “night dream” & the pan is bigger than the mega pallet shades. 🙃 Also, I got 9 pan: “Glow Getter” palette & it’s bigger panned. But my 9 pan “Making Mauves” is smaller panned. Thanks & love your videos -your awesome.

These are designed to fade (to give the blotted look) so they are not transfer proof.

I think ColouPop missed a good oportunity here. If you are going for an all matte palette you gotta give more color variety. They could have done a mutted colorful palette that goes from very light to very deep and it woul have been a hit. However, as I always say, it's not like they don't know what people what, they just don't want to give it to you in 1 palette, that way they can keep you buying more.

I used to like the blotted lip but they were very inconsistent in formula but the worse thing was they would all fall out of the tube in the first few uses.

I do still like Colourpop eye shadow palettes, even though they have a lot of compitition these days. I think they could afford to put mirrors in their palettes, at least the smaller ones. My fav of all time is Boudoir, which does have a decent mirror, but they charge extra and I imagine it will soon be discontinued, like all of their best palettes!

They should have taken a few things out of the palette: a) either the second or third row from the top (because they're either too similar to each other or to the fourth row) b) two of the first three columns (all browny neutrals with only small differences in undertone)

Real talk, I’m tired of these huge palettes. It seems to me overwhelming and I been rude all the shades. I would like to think they do it because it offers shades for many skin tones. But I’d rather see them make two or three smaller versions of this kind of palette, for different skin tones. Just my opinion though.

I was excited at the thought of an all matte palette, but I have to say this one really disappoints me. I don’t mind the size, but there are way too many similar shades. No one needs that many brown shades. I probably won’t get this. Hopefully they will do more matte palettes with better variety.
