Thank you so much for sharing how to make our own custom patterns. I've been looking for this video again to make my own. I appreciate you sharing how to draft this, going to attempt this for myself, sick of forever searching for a comfortable supportive bra for myself all these years. Hope i can manage to do a decent job

Was wondering where you purchased your tailors dummy/mannequin from if you don't mind me asking?

Loved watching this video and the way you edited it! Did you ever end up making the dress to go on top?

Hello 😀 Thank you for this nice tutorial 🙏 I'm drawing the pattern right now and I'm wandering if it would be more accurate to divide the underbust by 4 instead of the bust ? To draw the first line of the rectangle. Knowing that we later add the difference in size between the bust and underbust, in the cup, that would make more sense to me...

Yes completely agreed, you are right! Sorry about the confusion, it is indeed the underbust for the rectangle. Thank you so much for pointing it out! I'll try to change it in the video if it's still possible Also I omitted the info Abt the seam allowance.. Basically only the side seam got 1 cm (0,39 inch) and the rest was drafted without them as it was finished with bias tape. I'm so honored for you to try my tutorial, and if there are any other questions please let me know! Also totally excited to see how your stays are going to work out! Good luck ♥️ Are you making them by hand too? Mashine is 10x quicker for sure 😅

@@thedressmakingproject Thank you so much for your answer 🙏 And thank you for the info about the seam allowance, I actually did like that, but with 1,5 cm. I wish I would have time to do it by hand but I've choosen the easy solution instead 🙃 To insert the cup though, I've started with a first sewing by hand, to place the fabric correctly and to be sure it will not move when I machine sew. This part was really tricky to me, and I ended up putting a bias to have a clean result 😅 The work is still in progress but so far I'm happy with it ☺
