Go to Shenzhen, rent an apartment next to "the market", for a couple of months, pick up some strange parts and build up a phone! I'd love to do it myself, but who has the time. That would be way more complicated than adding an audio jack. The simplest way would be to add another sim card slot and make a physical switch to change in between sim cards. But that's not how dual sim phones work, most are dual sim dual stand by. He would have to not only add another sim card slot but add additional radio modules and hardware to the phone and somehow re-write iOS to support it.

Whoa, that multi-tone laser aluminum engraving was some next-level shit. That artist was right to take pride in that work. He's a true pioneer. Unlikely. All phone motherboards are custom fit to the casing of the phone they are designed to be put in, so he would have to use a preexisting phone design, otherwise he would have to take the time to design and produce his own model of phone from the ground up, which is not feasible to do alone.

@StrangeParts6 жыл бұрын
I don't think there's one simple trick. I think I got pretty luck. But it's hard work, no matter how you go about it. In my opinion, it's better to make one really great video than make 100 mediocre videos. It took me 5 months of more or less full time work to make my first video. The second one took me four months of more than full time work (7 days a week at times). At the end of the day, if you tell compelling stories that people want to watch, your channel will grow. Maybe not after the first video like mine did. Or even after the first or the tenth. But eventually it will grow. Just my 2 cents, but what do I know - I'm still pretty new to this:)

Quercus ithaburensis subsp. macrolepis). 2. Quercus robur). Quercus petraea). Quercus trojana). 5. Quercus cerris).

@mitchellblaser92566 жыл бұрын
The reason that you can't find any back cases without plastic is that that's where your phone's antennas live. If you didn't have those, your reception would be crap. If you remember the iPhone 4, you'll remember that people had problems with reception if they held it in a certain way (covering the antenna lines). Unfortunately, this is a must and it can't really be helped. Edit: Just continued watching and you got it right about the antennas.

I think you almost got scammed. There is no reason that the non-official iPhone 7 back case costs ¥650. On a popular online shopping website Taobao, the official back case for iPhone 7 only costs around ¥250.

Is there a way you can switch the lightning port to Micro USB or USB type C?? That would be an amazing video
@RyanJones-lv9dj6 жыл бұрын
Jose Ruiz Definitely possible, though very *very* difficult to do in such a confined space. Lightning ports have very different electrical connections compared to USB-C or micro USB-B, so you would need to find a IC that does that conversion for you, or design it yourself.
@xgadgetid82705 жыл бұрын
Just go buy the lighting to usb c converter LOL...

Red back iphone case you have is for 7 not 6s 🤨

Nope, it's for a 6s. Just designed to look like a 7:)

Strange Parts I was actually about to comment the same thing. I was like "Oh No! He got a 7 not a 6s!" but I'm glad you actually got a 6s. Amazing work. I love watching your content, every video is amazing.

neat, those flat 6s & 7 cases looked sweet too, wondering if it's possible to make an Iphone 7 plus look like a jumbo 5s 😂

I attempted doing this by ordering a red iPhone housing that was designed for iPhone 7 Plus but with a headphone jack for my 6 plus. I also sent a note to the seller to engrave my actual IMEI number which he did. I didn't realize that iPhone 7 Plus had dual lenses so when I placed it on my 6 Plus the secondary hole helped the flash to be visible. So whoever sees my phone now expects it to be iPhone 7 Plus but gets astonished seeing a headphone jack!!! 😉

I guess now in retrospect, you can see that the plastic lines that were running through the back of the phone were different because one was the iPhone 7 antenna design and one was the iPhone 6/6S design. Even though they were telling you those with less plastic were still for 6S devices (they weren't).

I actually like the square cornered design, makes it feel like a solid piece of technology rather than just a lump. It probably doesn't make sense, it's just how I naturally react to it aesthetically.
