I LOVE how this turned out!! Add some casters so the booth would roll with you and you could go anywhere you wanted!! It’s a shame the puppets didn’t work out but that’s just how crafting goes sometimes. I think the pivot worked out and told the story better! I'm one of the ones who's here because of Rachel's video, and I'm surprised you never showed on my main page the way others have. I don't make or wear costumes, but I love to watch other people make and wear them. Also, I loved the commercial: it was delightfully twisted. When you asked "are you listening?" I knew exactly what you were going to say, because I've had people actually argue with me about how it would be OK to use the pot again for soup, or something, because they were going to clean it well. *Gawd,* no.

As for my Halloween costume, I'll be on candy duty this year, so I'm keeping it simple with a cloak, plague doctor mask and hat. Awesome work Midge! Love the choice of character(s)! I enjoy the creative problem solving involved with projects like this :) Rit dye is a little tough! It's certainly a science since the colors on the label often are not the color you get LOL I also have a product suggestion when it comes to body paint makeup when doing a full coverage application- Kryolan Aquacolor- It is glycerin based and is activated with water and easily comes off in the shower. We used it when doing a full-body grayscale look for a Wednesday & Pugsly Addams costume, and for Malificent and Ursula costumes. They also have a setting spray that works really well. It holds up well and doesn't rub off onto others LOL Happy Halloween!🎃

Hmm, I’m thinking of a wing structure, like the kind you put on with elastic straps, except use sturdier materials, and attach just the torso of each girl, on either side of you, on each “wing”. then, if you put some kind of balustrade/balcony strip in front, it will give the effect, without you having to do the entire bodies. Plus, it would be removable, so you could have your big reveal at the party, then park the girls in a corner :P

Make a wide shoulder bar, run it through the girls’ shoulders or necks on each side, and leave space in the center of the bar for yourself to carry them by your side across your shoulders. Or do it with a backpack or shoulder harness instead, so the weight isn’t on your neck the whole night. A shoulder harness could even be worn under the body suit with a slit and loop in the back to run the bar through to hold your demon girls. I was already following you and Rachel, but it was so fun to see you collab!
