Beautiful result. I like that you included how you fixed mistakes. So which method putting angles on the end grain worked better for you? 'one big chamfer' or just sawing?
@WoodByWright3 жыл бұрын
I prefer cutting close to the line and then smoothing it with a plane. But in the end it's just a personal choice.

@@WoodByWright thanks, in the how 2 video you mentioned it requires a bit of practice. I'll have to start using more offcuts for practicing this kind of thing :)

I am commenting on something fairly visible now. You should see a doctor with that tremor if you haven't already. I hope you'll be well, but judging just from this video, you should not delay it. God bless you and thank you for all you've given us.

Thanks for the concern but it is just excitement.

@@WoodByWright Well I guess it was very emotional then, quite understandably, given the situation. You're the one to call the shots. I specialized in anesthesia and intensive care (not neurology). Judging just from the video, I was concerned, and I still am. Feel free to delete this comment if it makes you uncomfortable. I wish you all the best. DS

Not a problem I get the comment often. I had my Dr look at it but I have been this way all my life. When I get into something I really enjoy I get Shakey.

Hey Wright! What's the best way to contact you with questions?

Usually emails the best as I don't miss those. But I do respond to social media posts and different places I just every now and then miss them.

Whats that saw at the beginning?

That is a frame saw. I have a few videos showing making one and a few more on resawing with it if you want to see more.

Nice work I would like to buy one for my late father but someone in my family took it . What is a good price? My late father was a MARINES!
@WoodByWright8 ай бұрын
For the case? it all depends on who makes it and what all they put into it. you would see anywhere from $100 to $1500. If I were to sell them at my skill lever it would probably be around $600ish.
