Im so used to a lot of doll customisers being family friendly, so i keep laughing every time you swear- its really relatable, you know?

For the locked hair you could try very small and thin strands of actual wool. get it wet with soap and water and then start twisting them one at a time and forming them into a loc. there are also felting needles you can use to help you form them into the perfect shape. look up the craft felting to get an idea of what i mean. one you get a good amount you can cut them to size needed and root them into the doll's head then put glue inside the head for a firm hold. this may help you get that look you are going for. love your doll and your work.

I love him!!! This is my favorite of your dolls so far! The colors with the hair and pants and silver arms all look so good together!! So cool!! He looks like a guy who’d be a great superhero. Nice to innocent people, but able to bash in skulls when it comes to bad guys!

Hello! I don't know if anyone else has suggested this, but roving wool might give you the hair texture you are looking for. Roving wool is used for felting projects, so it might work.

I've used roving wool to make dreads for my dolls with great results! you just roll it in your hands like you're making a snake out of clay, don't need powder or glue or anything!

for the dreads: if I remember correctly, dollightful gives dreads to her umbreon repaint and she explains what she's doing as she's going. and I think the hair of her earth dragon doll also has dreads

she used unraveled yarn for umbreon and for the earth dragon, the locs are big so i'm not sure it'll work for shorter hairstyle. i'll have to look into this but i'm not sure when i'll make a character with locs

Unfortunately, the best way to make doll scale locs is with natural fiber yarn and not acrylic, wool specifically. Wool (I've seen some people have success with wool-blend, so it doesn't have to be 100% wool) can mimic locs at doll scale because you can felt the strands together by rolling them back and forth. There are actual tutorials around that would explain better than I could lol

I know how to do doll scale locs. Its really really tedious. You would have to do a scaled down version of the " yarn locs" hair style. But the will be stiff before a boil wash. The othet option is finding yarn that already looks like little locs. I don't know the exact names of the type of yarn but i can hunt it down! I'd love to see you do a doll with Locs

i'm loving the torso and body shape of this doll, it reminds me of that gorgeous superhero 90's animated physique such as the animated series batman had it also reminds me of Peter chungs sketches of the male body in animated form. which are images hard to find since aeon flux pops up a lot more but in the pilot episode of that series Trevor exposes his body and it's a super broad shouldered wide chest and narrow waist almost like an exaggerated swimmers build and I just thought it was such a beautiful version of the male form. and this doll reminds me of it and it's more beautiful in doll form. The arms are probably the super coolest I've ever seen the product you used really made them look like they're made of pure steel/ metal. and the pants! I wish I had a pair for myself I am loving the print. the face sculpt and hair is amazing, the goatee and the gold chain necklace is a nice edition to this doll.

The style of the cyborg to funky fashion kinda reminds me of The Fifth Element? lol with the new space age bits mixed with the 70/80's funk if that makes sense. NICE cyborg boy. And YES, MSC's definitely changed! I thought I did something wrong or sprayed it in the wrong conditions, but it always ends up shiny after more than 4 layers. The first two or three are fine, but afterwards it becomes shiny. I use MSC Matt, because I can't get FLAT, but matt suggests matte, right? So no, it's not you.

i love Mike! though i find him a little too simple? i feel like you could have leaned further into the cyborg esthetic, like maybe giving him a special eye modification or a metal jaw? or maybe even some scars to explain why he might be a cyborg and give him a bit more character/personality that way? just some thoughts tho, dont take anything to heart, the doll is still amazing, and im always mesmerized by your ability to sculpt muscular men! his face also has a somewhat gentle look to it, like he'd protect people with his cyborg arms and save orphans or something XD hopefully he's a hero like that!
