This is great, and also taught me something new: I don't need to make all animations by hand if I separate the sprites into parts and animate inside the engine. A video on this could be great also :)

Hey. checking all your games on steam, and your videos here on youtube, got me wondering, how much $$ did you make with those games? could you do a video analisys of spend vs earnings? I know it may not be your goal to make a lot of money from games, but your tutorials are amazing and you seem to be a super good programmer, but don't see many reviews on the games. Hope there is something i am missing here. thanks for all the content. subscribing and leaving a like

I may consider doing that, the short answer real quick is that I've made basically no money on my games. A couple hundred dollars at most last time I checked. The Udemy courses do a lot better, but gonna try to increase revenues from games real soon!

@@FirebelleyGames even a couple hundred dollars would mean a lot for me, i live in brazil, so even 200-500 dollars every couple months would be a great boon to my income. Just an idea, like how many hours put into each game, plus expenses and total revenue, to give an idea if this is something worth pursuing as a side hustle. Thanks for the response. i will be digging into a lot of your videos and maybe your udemy course later this month
