@DarkMoonEmporium Thank you very much for the template details. I have a question where you created (moved) to a new layer. I don't see how you did that. I have layer 1 completed up til after you combine/subtract. I added a layer 2 but can't see how to go past that point. When I select "move to" it just changes the color of the layer.

@@DarkMoonEmporium Starting at 2:20. I'm running XCS on Windows. Downloaded from xTool website but I don't see any version info...2 days ago so I take it that's it's the latest version available. I haven't received my F1 yet as it's still in the mail, and at the top it says "D1 Pro". I grabbed everything, as you did, Then I see your pointer select "cut" then go to the Setting "Manual setting field". I clicked it, tried the pull down..nothing. Wonder if it's something on my end. Thank you for trying to help me out. I printed the screen if you wanted to see where I am in XCS. I think my F1 won't be here tll Dec 1. I'm trying to get up to speed before then. I've watched your video 4 times now and redid the project 3 times to see if I missed something. I also manuall created the 2nd layer.

If you don't save the file how do you go back and set the template back up? Do you have to do the same process all over again?

You just open the template file and enter the text you want on the pencil. If you save it with the last text you entered, you'd have to remove that and re-enter the text array boxes next time. Hope this makes sense - and thanks for the question!

@@DarkMoonEmporium ok. But how do you tell xtools that this is a template. You have to save it somehow so it is there when you want it. Correct?

@@davidcochran934 I just save it in my docs file as an .xcs file and open it when I need it.
