Ever wondered how to making a jungle beat on the MPC One? Or anything for that matter. These are the basic principles, and honestly it usually doesn't get better by less basic. More sprinkles and flips on the drum breaks, but sparse in sound amount.
Correction: we're chopping the drum break in 1/4ths, not 1/8ths. Technically. One, two, three, four..
Let me know what you want me to know that you wanna know next if you appreciate this format and wanna keep it going!

So now that my MPC One had arrived I spent most of the weekend programming breaks. I am wondering though, once I have drums on track 1 when I create track 2, to put bass on for example, should that be a keygroup? When I import a bass sound like this I can't see it listed or hear it when I hit pads. Not sure what I'm missing here. Thanks.
@BlezzBeats
@BlezzBeats 4 жыл бұрын
If you're importing a bass sample I'd definitely use a keygroup, to assign the sample after loading it you need to go into Program Edit/Samples and select your sample from there.

Thanks for watching! For keeping it simple and translatable to any sampler/sequencer. I like to start in that end regardless, warping is a later step for me. I'd sequence the chops how I want them and resample them then use warp for example. Also the real time warp sounds like sh* on the MPC
