I am learning about the Jewish culture. I am an Episcopalian by upbringing. I have heard that Christians should follow kosher laws. I have heard some people say Christians are not permitted to eat pork and should follow kosher rules. What is your opinion on this matter?

When using a blow torch..what is the best way to use it? Does each spot have to become red hot or does a slow but steady pass across the surface area suffice? I have not heard this question answered in any discussion. TY and Yeshar Koach!
