@@MartyE I just “converted” 2 useless blue modules to 2 black ones that I will use for Legacy updates / backups! While reading about the process on the Forum wat informational, watching your video gave me the confidence to get out the soldering pen and do the job! Micro surgery IMO! Thanks!

Hey Marty, I've watched your channel a number of times and find it very informative. I am trying to locate a Lionel Writable Utility Module but have not been successful. Is there anywhere that I might find one. Thanks in advance for your help in this matter.

Their "hard to find" status was the catalyst to making this video. I haven't seen them around in a while. I manage to pick one up a few years ago from the LHS. They are out there just hard to find. In the meantime you can make one using the technique in the video. I suspect Blue modules are more plentiful. Sorry I couldn't be more help.
