Been flying electric and nitro for a long time , just bought my first gas ARF and DLE20. I find your videos to be extremely helpful. Thank you.

I've been using a steering arm to support the choke rod on most of my single cylinder engines. A longer screw on one of the engine mounts holds the arm, and the choke rod is put into one of the arms holes. Very effective and works great.

What size and where did you get the bolt holding down the throttle? My engine either came without it, or I lost it somehow. It's a dle 35 I think like you mentioned. Thx

Great vdo. Do you know if I can loosen the da-35 choke arm (red metal) to rotate into a position thats easier for the push rod movements?

Is that throttle linkage a du-bro 4-40 heavy duty ball link? I just tried installing mine like yours is shown and the hardware bottoms out as you advance it towards full throttle.

How do you turn off the choke when you started the engine?
@flyingrcdotnet7 жыл бұрын
The engine won't run with the choke engaged. It will fire a few times and then quit, indicating fuel has come through the carb. Then open the choke to start and run the engine.

Does anyone one else remember metal to metal was a problem for noise to radio ?

Yes exactly....and that is my big headache atm. The hole in the DLE 20 choke lever is huge so I cannot install a normal nylon clevis as there is too much slop ( play). The general concept of this vid is good and simple...BUT how do I get past this problem of the huge hole in the choke lever?...
