It looks súper awesome! I made a vest from scraps of denim and leather stripes once and i sew it all by hand, it was one of my firsts projects and I wore it till it fall apart. It was lovely like medieval frankenstein vest, i been thinking about remaking it and Broady's vest make me want to start rigth away!

Thanks! I love that collar too, although it certainly hurts my neck when I wear it all day at work. And I have decided the vest would be EVEN COOLER if it lit up! So I am in the process of ordering some blue LED lights to wire it up. It's going to look so awesome!

Amazing! It came out so hecking cool, and it looks great on Brodie. I love the process videos for stuff like this, because it reminds me that cool stuff doesn't just bamf into existence being cool, it's something anyone could do with a little time and some materials.

i KNEW I was saving the hardware from my old torn up purses for SOME reason. super gr8 ideas you had for this vest. we have industrial sewing machines (straight needle and sergers) at work that I can use to sew the heavier fabrics with. thank you for sharing such gr8 tips. btw you did an incredible job on the vest!!

I agree! There definitely isn't as much content on KZbin for guys as there is for ladies! That's why I try my best to drag Brodie into my videos (when I can) and do videos on special outfits I make for him. I'm going to try my best to do more videos with him in them, because goth guys need more awesome viewing content and fashion videos.

I made 5 vests this last year by hand cutting out by hand hand sewing from hobby lobby leather. I just hand painted it customized it it says Hot Mess Love over and inside love wings the rest says RARE BREED then it says be amazed this is just a PHASE. A star between hot mess. I will model that tomorrow when the paint dries

I have a normal sewing machine but the engine is a little overpowered so it sounds a bit like your industrial Scary Baby. I’ve had it checked out, it works perfectly fine, just a bit quirky and loud! It does not sew alligator tails!

I love the back of the vest the most. 🖤 I have two degrees from the Fashion Institute of Technology in fashion and accessories design. I also had in the past worked in a theatrical costume company for 12 years here in NYC. But I still get intimidated and scared of those industrial sewing machines. Good thing I was just a cutter and a draper's assistant. But once in a blue moon I had to use the machines. They still freaks me out a bit. It's like being use to driving a Volkswagen and then suddenly getting behind the wheels of a Ferrari. I have a need, a need for... No! I don't have a need for speed. Thank you very much. LOL! 😉🧵✂️🖤

Yes! Scary Baby is indeed scary machine, as his name suggests! I was quite surprised about how different it is to run an industrial machine as opposed to my regular 1960s Kenmore. I love them both for different reasons, but damn! It was quite a learning curve!
