I love the way you have positioned the birds; they know where they’re heading!! Changing the size of the moon made such a difference in altering the perspective. Can’t wait to see your finished piece. The snow was beautiful but so glad it’s just about gone here. Have a great week.

Yes it was so beautiful, and it's amazing now we have colour again isn't it. Even tho it's winter colours, they seem so storng after the snow somehow. xx

Like it! The birds are very nice. Not sure that I like the big piece of white lace at the bottom. Maybe a piece of smaller, lighter purple lace for a reflection?

I was so surprised at the difference the bigger size moon made to the overall look of the piece. Whilst I understand scale I've always thought of it in terms of much bigger or smaller and the moon was only slightly bigger but it had a big effect on the image. So, if nothing else, this has made me re-consider my ideas on scale and the changes they can bring to art work.

me too, I was amazed how changing just one thing changed everything. I had stitched larger circles around the little moon, which I didn't like, but I think it nudged me to the bigger version! It's almost be brave and just do something bigger than you think you should!! Like life haha! xx

Hi had a thought about the top dark coloured bird, would it work if white mesh or lace was sewn to hi light the edge of the left wing. 🤔
