Good luck finding thiccer hickory. I've only ever gotten 4/4 and glue/plane from there. Nice design execution.

I love this build! Very cool design, and I love what you did with the sapwood on the headboard. Very creative. I personally love working with hickory. (Thiccer hickory) I have not found either. Great job dude!

Thiccer hickory. Just discovered your channel through Michael Alm. Love your design with the curved sides becoming the feet and the angled feet at the foot of the bed. Especially appreciate your after the fact comment about safety. I wish more content creators were humble enough to acknowledge their mistakes and glad yours had no disastrous effects.
