Making A Pinwheel Ring: A Silversmithing Tip

This tutorial shows how to create a whimsical and fun type of fidget ring featuring a Pinwheel design. This particular piece features a bezel set Peridot of about 5 mm. I would categorize this as an intermediate project. The materials I used were: 18 gauge sterling sheet, 26 gauge sterling sheet, 14 gauge sterling round wire, 18 gauge sterling round wire, 2.33 OD silver tube, number 4 low dome half round wire, and 3/16 inch fine silver bezel in 26 gauge. As always, I am using Hard silver sheet solder, and My-T-Flux from Rio Grande, although I do use a little easy solder on the last soldering operation on this one.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge with others, as I've taught people for most of my life. This hobby turned into a fun side gig for me for years while I taught public school.
