@@WickedMakers I don't know about you guys, but I get SO disappointed with myself that I'm no longer as fascinated by my 3D printer as I was when I first got it. I love it, but the first few things I 3D printed were like magic -- I was like a kid on Christmas Day watching them print (and wishing they would finish faster) Now, it's just a "matter of course" that I design something on my computer, and a few hours (or days) later, that thing is sitting on my desk, and I'm like "dude, really?!? this magic box just print out something you imagined, and you shrug?!?"

I always enjoy your videos. They bring the "scary" back to Halloween. I loved seeing the usage of the 3D printer for the skull. I do not own one. I liked that you gave options for other skulls. I took a look at a big box skull and decided that if I used spray foam insulation inside, it would give it some stability and thickness without weight. Just a little manual cleanup. The only other thing that I would have done is to have used leftover bones from a plastic skeleton to decorate the corners as pictured from the art concept. Might just try to recreate this project this year. Going to add your spider from last year first, then the drunk pirate skeleton. I cannot wait to see your next video.

An upgrade option would be a magnet in each hasp with a corresponding magnetic sensor in each shackle. The Arduino can sense when either sensor activates by opening the hasp, then sequentially lights up the eyes and then starts the smoke. A third sensor can make the chest moan/scream when its opened.

18:34 Suggestion for attaching. When initially 3D printing the skull, add hollow screw anchors (The pole things you find on the inside of plastic equipment.) and self-tapping screws. If the poles are too long once you poke them through the foam, mark them and cut to fit. Easy! (In theory.)
