This is why you hire a professional designer or contractor to oversee the entire job. If you cheap out and piecemeal the job and try yo coordinate yourself, then you can up like this, with drop-ins, cooktop stove, sink, etc that are too wide or deep to fit the cabinets you bought. The cheap becomes expensive. I bought my cabinets, countertops aall from the same company and had them install everything. No problems. Then they don’t let you buy items that won’t fit together.

When you begin your case by lying to the judge, then you’re off on the wrong foot. The judge is now skeptical of everything you say moving forwards.
@The_Real_Mier2 жыл бұрын
You can’t be for real if you think the Judge could possibly mean the ‘Striking Distance’ remark seriously! It was already clear that the hubby was not happy with the actions of the wife within this process and that he had been quite verbal about that towards her. THAT what that comment was about. Secondly: When the Judge wants to hear a (partial) testimony from the wife, the husband should not interfere and lead the wife into saying what she is supposed to say according to him. That’s not rocket science either. When you add to that the fact that the husband started off his own testimony with a lie (that was immediately caught by the Judge!), then you want him even MORE to keep his mouth shut when the wife is supposed to give HER version of events. Don’t try to find things Judge Milian didn’t do in an attempt to discredit her and even (indirectly) aim to accuse her of wrongdoing in her Courtroom! That will make you look like a fool! ….As it did!

The opening question about the friend who recommended defendant pretty much sunk plaintiff case . His nonchalant attitude set the course and I think he was being just as dishonest as defendant . Cabinets were probably cheap standard size that had to be modified when installed. Defendant did f up and should have just stuck to installing granite top and leave. You want good cabinets then you hire a cabinets maker and finisher, when you order from Home Depot you are going to get mass produced items with shat materials. A real cabinet shop comes in and corrects Irregularities in walls, floors so when it’s installed there are minimum issues with fit. You do it on the cheap that’s what you get. People should have called a real cabinet shop for an estimate to repair what the have there and it would have helped their case. Buyer beware

If a contractor screws up a job and refuses to fix it, Don’t sue them in court. Go after his Bond and Insurance. Once a contractor has a ding on their Bond and Insurance then the Bonding company will refuse to allow them to renew their Bond. Then other Bonding companies will also deny to Bond them, thus forcing the Contractor out of business. His insurance company will raise their rates so high (approximately 400% higher), so the contractor cannot afford the rate increase. The person who filed the claim against their Bond and insurance WILL be compensated for their losses. Therefore the Customer will be paid off and the Contractor will be forced to go out of business.
