@@groovining I share the same feeling for this DAW as well :) it has this certain charm to it that keeps drawing me towards it. the interface and the workflow are just to my taste as well. Looking forward to see what u will upload next I find these videos really helpful - even if it’s not smth new but just basic stuff it they often give me ideas. If u make some guides for sound design that would be awesome. Ofc just keep on posting the stuff you intend to - your content is good as it is anyway.

@@groovining What I had in mind when referring to sound design was more experimental types of sounds - glitches, sci-fi type of sounds/noises and EFX. I mean as long as it’s possible to do it using just Renoise. I know how to make sounds like these with VSTIs but I’d prefer to do as much work as possible just using Renoise and it’s native tools

@@isellcrack3537 I couldn't agree more. It's not flashy but it definitely has charm. The workflow is also very unique. I'm glad I can help inspire you - I do the same with youtube vids! Sometimes you just need that little idea or technique to set you off. I'll definitely do more sound design stuff, I do use Synths like serum which can be more practical but there is still lots you can do with Renoise. Keep it real bro ✌️

@@isellcrack3537 Yea that's a good idea - I have some good techniques for those types of effects. Rising Resonant Filters and Pitch Envelopes, Decimator is cool in Mod window also

Is there any way to have the single cycle waves be freerunning?

Sorry I'm slow to get back to this! I sadly don't think it is possible. I was looking to do this when i made the video as it gets rid of some of the 'phasey' sound. I do use Renoise for bits of synthesis here and there but I have to say Vital, Serum, Pigments all are obviously far superior if you want in-depth controls. This video as much as anything is to demonstrate some of the power of Instrument modulation/effects in Renoise :)
