I was recently at an estate sale and purchased a wreath to make a tacky 60's era wreath for the garage service door. Seeing it was just sitting on the garage floor in the way, I thought I would just go ahead and do it up to get it done and out of the way. I don't like the bow, so once I start digging into the Christmas stuff, I'll most likely find a big tacky red felt bow to replace the one currently on the wreath.
100% of everything used to make this project was from estate sales. Now I'll have a wreath to add the the vintage C9 lights I use on the garage, with the 1949 blow mold candles my grandma purchased new at Woolworth, when she worked there back in the day. I also have a vintage snowman blow mold to sit next to the garage in the garden.
I have a great view of the backyard from in the house, so it will be nice looking out the windows and seeing my vintage Christmas decorations illuminated during the ultra short winter days and Holiday season. Subscribe if you want to see all the decoration up an illuminated, once I put them up in mid. November.
