Nicely done as usual fella. Don't sell yourself short in assuming what we might find interesting, as those of us with zero engineering skills find a lot of 'not seen that done before' stuff very interesting to watch.👍

Thanks, will do! couple people have asked for that so I will do a full warts and all build for KZbin in the near future so keep an eye out. Many thanks.

Very interesting , enjoyed watching this alot as well as your other projects. On a change of subject , i d like to get into machining . Being a mechanic being able to make bits and bats and threading would help alot. Could you recommend a beginner friendly lathe for home use. 😁

I love watching these type of video's. It was my dad's trade and I an honestly in awe of it. My trade was a commercial vehicle bodybuilder so nothing to such fine tolerances. I wish I had been a turner now 👍👍

Hello, I suppose it's not too difficult to silence a 12Ft/Lb air rifle but would this hair curler format do the job on a 70Ft/Lb .25 cal pcp rifle? Would the plastic hair curlers survive the air blasts?
@sub12airgunners2 жыл бұрын
No i wouldn't use this method on a HP gun, thanks for watching

@@sub12airgunners If that is the case, what method would you use on a 70+Ft/lb .25 call PCP? (Happy New Year)

Hi Sub12 received your reg service kit this morning only ordered it on tuesday you must live above a Post Office. Quick question I have just had to send my new Maverick back to my dealer as the power has started spiking jumping from 11.6 ft/lb to 13.8 then down to 10 and so on. Have only had the gun four weeks and at first it was fine. Im guessing you've had no such issues with yours but wondered if you had any thoughts on the cause of my problem. Great vids my friend keep it up but we are wondereing why you don;t post on airgun 101. regards Mark
@sub12airgunners3 жыл бұрын
Hmm that's a funny one, not sure what could cause that, sounds like something was sticking inside, possibly the hammer spring adjuster, but without having a look at the rifle I wouldn't know for sure. I don't think you can just post on Airgun101, its an invite only thing I think, so maybe one day I will, but for now just KZbin. Thanks for watching.

Very good you will have no time to do anything else but make them as I think they will sell well
@sub12airgunners3 жыл бұрын
Thanks, they are not going to be for sale at the moment, I am unsure of the legality of making and selling mods, you probably need an RFD licence, but Thanks for the interest and thanks for watching.

@@sniperiraqy1272 Im not an expert on those sort of pressures. High pressure seamless steel tube would be the way to go I would of thought, but pressure stress would need to be calculated

i'm tryna justify putting a lathe in the spare bedroom 🤣
@sub12airgunners3 жыл бұрын
Sneak it in, the Warco WM180 was my first lathe and I had it in the front room, not ideal but it worked very well in there for a good couple of years before I migrated to the garage. Thanks for watching.
