David you will love it, I have been a bit fanatical, I wait for a nice sunny day to drive mine. I haven’t driven it in the rain and do not really want too. It’s definitely my baby!

Very good review. Like a pro! It's obvious you love the car and as an owner for just over for just a few days over four years, I can honestly say it's the best car available on the market right now. One thing a lot of people miss out on is VOICE COMMAND. Reading completely through the Owner's Manual is imperative. The INFOTAINMENT system is as good or better than any vehicle. Once you understand the trackpad is essentially there so you can set up your personal preferences. Run MENU/SETUP and then go through each category and choose your own defaults. Doors, lights, wipers, climate control, navigation, bluetooth etc. Then read and learn VOICE COMMAND. It doesn't take more than 30 minutes and as you will find out, you never have to take your hands off the steering wheel or your eyes off the road. Actually, there are just a few times. For me, less than ten times in four years. I can call my wife or any of my contacts, text them also. I can find an Italian, Chinese or any type of restaurant. I can get directions to anywhere in the country. I can change the audio to any mode, volume or even type of music. I can play anything that is on my smart phone over the infotainment. The list is endless. Seriously!! The only thing I'm not able to do is made the seats warmer or cooler. But, I can say "Show Seat Warming Screen" and that will pop right up allowing me to slide my fingers up or down the trackpad to adjust the temperature of the seats. This car is unbelievable. It does everything it was designed to do perfectly. You will never need more power, unless your only criteria for owning a car is sheer speed. The best part is for last. The LC 500 is super reliable. It is not like cars made in Europe that use cheap parts that fail frequently. I won't mention which German, Italian or British cars those are but rest assured, the Lexus will never leave your stranded by the side of the road at 2 a.m. in the rain and it certainly won't catch fire all by itself. With scheduled maintenance and proper care, the LC 500 should give the owner at least 200,000 miles of reliable service. So, factor in everything and the $100k+ is actually cheap for what you're getting. If anyone isn't sure, go buy a car that a certain "007" drives, spend twice the money and get ready for a few surprises.

As an LC owner, this is one of the most honest reviews on the tube 👌🏼 On the shift nob, if u never saw it on a toyota, u’ll find it very good and certainly beats the shaving machine on a 911.

I have a 22 coupe. Its dope. Funny watching jaws drop when you roll into the gas station. I say that because that's usually when it happens. Lots of compliments. A kid blew me a kiss. Its like driving a super model. I have fun smoking scatpacks, gts, ss, type r's, RSs, WRXs, golf type rs, f types, if i find a 911, GTR, vett off guard i can snap their necks. I mean what more do you want? I love yelling "You just got smoked by a LEXUS!!!" 🤣 My plate says "That LC" and i drive it like i ride my motos. Like a manic. 😂

The only time I saw a LC500 I had to follow it to see what it was. I saw one that was sold at the dealership. I knew I had to have one. Trading in my beloved yellow 2010 Vette. This car is the complete package. While the repair prices are higher than I expected, tires brakes etc with the 1-2k miles-that it will see I will probably not live long enough to worry about it . What the hell it’s gorgeous, and I know I will look like a million in it.🏖️

9:54 Reviewers love to rag on the infotainment system. As an owner, and a CAR GUY. Dont listen to them. Its a great system. When you get the car you learn it. I can do everything on the fly, its not annoying and the best thing is my screen is kept clean! It never looks dirty. Here is a tip at night turn the screen off. It looks great. Personally i don't need a TV screen blaring down on me all the time and the fact that i can turn it off is majical to me.

11:08 I dont agree with you. Yea its a prius shifter but the fact is that's a good shifter. Add to that what they did. You need to know someone like me to tell you this. Lexus performed deep cuts in the metallic housing so 5 layers of leather could be stiched in w/ out the seam poping up. If you feel and look at those seems they are flush. They feel great to touch on and THAT is not on a prius. It just feels good and knowing stuff like that makes it better. Plus even if that just popped out of a 3D printer it still feels and performs better than the gated shifters they were using. The new cars are having these systems put in. For better or worse. I happen to like it.

Gorgeous car. The only thing I would change if I owned one is to color match those trims on both head/rear lights, other than that everything remains untouchable. Aka baby LFA 🙌

I am the proud owner of a 2023 LC500 convertible. This is a GT car. Like sitting in a leather cocoon. Yes you could sit in these seats all day long . No it had no usable tea seats and had a trac pad controller, do what. Want 2 rear seats want a touch screen go somewhere else. Not meant to be for the masses🏖️

15:00 Honestly i didnt get the conv because i thought it looked to feminine. Plus you cant get the RWS and other goodies so i opted for the coupe. Having said that I've heard from so many ppl that this conv is THE best because of its ability to shed wind from the cabin creating a peaceful atmosphere. Then i saw this bespoke conv in silver w/ a burgandy red top and those bespoke wheels... 😦🤤 Wow talk about sexy.

You made the right choice. The RWS with variable steering wheel makes a big difference. Also the coupe is 200 lbs lighter and has noticeably stiffer chassis. Imo coupe looks better too.

21:00 22 Coupe IF/TC w/ DHP and all the goodies 106,895 i think they bumped the price 2k for 23. I ordered this car. Ive ordered many cars in the past i know what I'm doing. I picked up my car in May of 22 having ordered it in Oc of 21. Yea. So now its cold, and i go for the heated steering wheel... I cant find it. Ok so i call for it! Ha! Lexus activate heated steering wheel. "This car is not equipt with that" 😳😧😩😖🤬 So i do some digging. Its in the all weather package for 250 bucks! But here is where i got confused and so might you. If you get the Touring or Sport package it is included! So you don't need that all weather pack. BUT if you want the DHP like i did it falls OUT of the packages requiring you to then put the all weather pack BACK on the list. 🤬 I missed that. So I'm this guy w/ ICE cold hands now... 🥶😭

18:35 Well 4.4 sec for the coupe under IDEAL circumstances and the driver has to know how to properly launch. I love these numbers because the average person cant achieve them unless they have skills and know what "ideal" is. 4.6 for the conv. I don't judge by numbers. I can tell you i have fun roasting scat packs, gts, ss's, type rs, RS's, F types, golf type Rs, WRXs... if i catch a 911, GTR, or vett off guard i can snap their necks. I mean what more do you want?

Those negatives will fade over time. It’s all still so new. People once said a motorized buggy wouldn’t work and look at us now. I know that’s not apples to apples, but it tracks. We have an EV in the garage now for testing that has us scratching our head a bit, but then there are some that just make you giggle (see our EV6 GT video we posted today). It’s a mixed bag. They have their place but one thing is for sure: the next 5-10 years will be an interesting ride.
