I just accepted a position for p&d in Sauget il! I’m in st Charles mo working for Pepsi in STL doing transport. I actually drive past this RL every week when I do my Springfield run haha. Just curious, what are they paying you during training? & is it a 40 hr guarantee?

@@sadebattiste7133 nice been with PFG 3 weeks now , new cdl holder . Base pay with 11 weeks training is like $4000 month can’t wait to get out training pay to make the route pay !! And see the difference of money definitely hard busy work, just keep moving moving moving

Thank you! Well PFG is foodservice delivery and RL is LTL Freight. With PFG I was starting my day at 2-3am and now I don't start until 8-8:30 delivering freight to businesses backing up to a dock or having them take it off the back of the trailer with a forklift, instead of running down a ramp with boxes on a 2 wheeler haha

@@catmouse2882hell no. It’s an old law that was made like 50 years ago that forbids truckers getting paid overtime. Why do you think 99% of trucking jobs don’t pay overtime. If they do they pay low.

I work as p&d and am out of the Detroit terminal, I bring home about 1400$ weekly AFTER taxes,insurance and everything. Haven’t looked in a minute to see the gross but yeah

@@gripped6184hey man, I have an interview for R&L tomorrow. They have p&d and linehaul positions available out of the Alexandria IN terminal by Indianapolis. Just wondering, doesn’t linehaul usually pay more? When we get bad winters I know my miles is gonna go down compared to getting paid hourly.
