Thanks so much! It seems like something suddenly started to "work" in terms of my perceived progress! I will keep at it! Stay tuned! :)

Halo, do you have any videos that speak about your walk-to-run program that you used when you first started your training? Also, use the Cloudwander shoes for hiking? What do you use for running?

This is a great idea! I will put together a video AND a link to the original presenter, give me through the weekend to complete this! As far as the shoes I use for hiking I did use the Cloudwander on a few hikes where things were cold and/or wet (the ones I have are "waterproof") but I still seem to prefer sandals even when hiking in more difficult areas. I've hiked Big Bend's South Rim and so many other "sturdy hiking boots required" locations in sandals, just as an example: kzbin.info/www/bejne/a32odoGZfcuao9E In terms of running, I've been bouncing around between several pairs of shoes with the main focus being to find something that leaves my feet intact when all is said and done. Right now one of the longest "non-blistering" faster runs I have under my belt is from this Monday itself when I went 8 miles in a new pair of Brooks Hyperion 4 coupled with a pair of Balega running socks. I can go just as far in my Chacos sandals without blistering if I'm walking but for some reason right around the 10 mile mark if I am running a good portion of the distance I can have the most unusual issues. Again, please stay tuned, I WILL revisit this topic by this upcoming week. I plan to get in another long run this upcoming weekend.
